Predatory Dealership toward less fortunate

I would like to share my experiences with Doyle Chapman motors. I went in to look at a 2017 Chevy Suburban. They were asking $27,500 for the car. $7000 down and 19% interest. The salesman was very polite and not pushy. Entire office staff was friendly. So I drive the suburban and it drove well. Ran the CarFax and could see the vehicle had been wrecked twice both times on the front driver side. Car had a Oder of cigarettes that we know may or may not come out. But I could live with that for a fair price. The car has 179,000 miles and from checking the service records the transmission has not been changed so there is a likelihood of that expensive repair in the near future. But again I could live with that if they were willing to work with me. The polite sales person ran my credit even though I was initially told they do in house financing and don’t report not check your credit. But no big deal my credit isint so bad and he acknowledged that. He in fact told me I was not there ideal client they sell cars too. I make over $100k a year, credit is fair, and I have lived in the same home 22 years. He said they typically get people with bad credit so they can charge 18-24% interest and he didn’t want to do that to me. Which I do appreciate. He said he would only charge me 19% interest, hmm thank you I think. And that most people would pay the $7000 but they have a better chance of getting the car back and reselling it when the person doesn’t follow through with their payments. So because I was going to actually pay the car on time, and they would not get a chance to repo the car I felt that I was not Doyle Chapmans ideal customer. I made him a offer two times. $26000 for the car, smoking car and has been in two reported accidents and has 179,000 miles. Value of the car is respectfully at $21,000 during this time. But they want to over charge people with bad credit because they can’t get a car anywhere else. Not bad enough your charging them 19% interest but way over charge on the car too. So I offered to pay $26k and put $5000 down and I would agree to pay 19% interest. He declined because he felt he could get someone to get hit over the head in all 3 ways. Pay way too much for the car, extremely high interest rate, and a outrageous down payment. And typically someone with better credit and a hood down payment would not be charged such a high rate. But Doyle Chapman made it clear that the only customers he wants are the ones that have no other options. So I recommend if you have no other options try car max instead of letting Doyle Chapman a PREDATOR TO THE POOR, take advantage of your current down situation. It’s car dealerships like these that give car salesman a bad name. I left feeling like he would not be able to xxxx me on the desl so he was uninterested. Do Not Buy Here

My experience is always great!

My experience is always great! Whenever I walk in I'm always greeted with a smile and feel welcomed inside. I come in and feel like family and not just another customer. I'm glad to have came here to get my vehicle, that I am on car number 2. I have also referred two family members to this dealership. I love coming to make my payment because of the warm reception I get. This is a great place and I enjoy everything about it.
