I bought my 2016 Sorento with 12,000 miles on it and I'm

I bought my 2016 Sorento with 12,000 miles on it and I'm the 2nd owner. We love the car, but back in January of this year we began to notice heavy oil consumption. It started off with a qt. then it was 2qts. We took the car to Kia in Visalia, CA and we were told that we needed to do an oil change and a consumption test. So we opted to start the process. When we took the car back to the dealership after a 1000 miles, the car was 2qts low. The next step was for them to do the combustion chamber cleaning and clean the throttle body. So we paid the $500+ dollars for that service to see if that would help correct the issue. Took the car back after another 1000 miles and low and behold, we are now 3qts low! The service manager took the car in and the mechanic said that we are out of warranty by 1 year and that we should consider having Kia open the motor to check the valves and the pistons for damage! REALLY, with under 90,000 miles and I have to a motor rebuild!!!!! The other option was to BUY a new motor! While on the phone with the service dept I was told "off the record" that I pretty much need to drive the car until it the motor "ceases". So I'm supposed to drive my car until the motor dies, then take it back and HOPE that they fix the car? And if they don't I'm stuck with a 9,000 bill for a car I can't drive. I'm in complete shock and don't understand how a business can do this. Then on top of that, when I was in the parking lot talking about my issues with my car, a sales rep walks over and I explain to him what the problem is and he suggested to trade it in and buy a new car! I'm literally sick to my stomach over this and Kia couldn't care less. If you look up this problem online, there are thousands of people having the same problem. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T BUY A USED KIA, AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON A NEW ONE! REMEMBER THE BOTTOM LINE IS KIA WANTS MONEY.

Bad Service Kia Visalia

5k dealer mark up and won’t even let you test drive unless your willing to buy same day. After reading reviews about their rude manager and lack of professionalism in the service department I’m glad they didn’t waste our time either. Strongly consider going anywhere else!

Interested buyer of kia telluride

Dealer seemed indifferent to me. I know they are getting double msrp and double invoice price on KIA Tellurides because of supply chain shortages. I will not pay double for this vehicle. If these conditions persist I may change my mind on what to buy.

Horrible service From Visalia Kia

Set appt to replace a part. Appt set, I had to reset. I called, reset the appt. go there, misses work to replace the part and, after waited for 40 min, I found out the part was not even ordered. This is a horrible customer service. I do not recommend Kia Visalia and I will never purchase a car from them again.
