Don't respond, now I get daily spam.

I contacted this dealer regarding I vehicle I saw on their website. I got an immediate response (I suspect auto generated), I asked some questions about the vehicle, not reply. I got an email from the "manager" asking about the service, I replied, I asked the questions (repeating them), but again, never received reply. The daily emails started up several weeks later. The emails keep trying to sell me a car and asking if there is anything they can do for me. I keep trying to unsubscribe, to no avail, the emails just keep coming. DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT ANY OF THEIR VEHICLES, it appears to be a scam to get your email address and send you spam.

No return calls

I was offered a deal by the internet salesman. I called back but he had left for the weekend. I attempted to speak with Kevin Newby and left two messages for a return call and I’d take the deal. Kevin never returned my calls.



It was a very stress free environment and everyone made me feel at home

Ignore my previous review, I absolutely cannot recommend Newby. I could say I am disappointed, but that is a gross understatement. I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with 96000 miles in January 2019. When I finally had a need for some cool air from the air conditioner in April, I discovered it was blowing only hot air. The vehicle now has 98000 miles and I am preparing to spend some significant cash to fix the issue which the service department should have found. Granted, I should have purchased the extended warranty - this is obviously an oversight on my part. However, the compressor / leak issue should have been discovered. In fact, when I brought the vehicle to Newby service department in February complaining of a 'coolant smell' in the cab / vents, the service department found nothing. That should have been a clue that something was not right with the 'system.' However, Newby simply does not care that I was sold a vehicle with issues. Indeed, I took the vehicle back to Newby in April where I was told that I just needed to add some freon. The freon was added and in a few days the vents were back to 'normal' blowing hot air. Here is what I found which Newby did not find or perhaps found, but simply does not care - a bad compressor / condenser, a leak in the system and dye in the refrigerant from previous auto work. Obviously, the previous owner was aware, was Newby? When I informed Newby of the issue, I was told I was on my own since I did not discover the issue in the first 2 weeks. Oh, if only I had needed air conditioning in January all would be well. I believed Newby was trustworthy, but now this problem after 2000 miles. I now know I was wrong to trust Newby. Many friends and acquaintances recommended Newby. I have and will inform them and others of my disappointment in yet another dealership. In my original review I thanked Newby and further stated "Now, if only all dealerships operated like Newby, consumers would feel much better." Three months later I no longer stand by that statement. I emphatically do not feel better and Newby IS just like all the other dealerships. I improperly assumed Newby was different, but now I realize they are simply a dealership just the same as all the others. I am so very disappointed..... and broke.

My buying experience was good, They were friendly and worked hard to get me into a new car. I did not give 5 stars because of some bad experienced in the past.
