Beyond

Service department goes beyond to help their customers like me. A day of a snow storm I was coming from Boston into Dartmouth. I had called to notify the dealership of running late due to the weather. The service department took my information and told me they would see me once I arrived. Once I arrived , the service department took me in without any issues. I was very happy to get in that day even tho the weather wasn't all to nice. Then I couldn't find my lock for my lugs and eventually did but the gentleman at the desk of my appointment that day (Friday 25, 2022)went BEYOND for me to make sure i was a happy customer. With all that being said, I am always a happy customer of Dodge, Chrysler,Jeep !! Keep it up guys & gals!!

After the sale nightmares

I went to Colonial South to purchase a used truck I had seen online. The salesman (Alex) was great and the process took the expected amount of time. I left happy with the truck I wanted at an acceptable price. That is where the good times stop. The after the sale stuff is where they are lacking. First, they were supposed to send me my new registration in the mail. After two weeks nothing showed up. I called and spoke to Alex and he said it probably got lost and that he would print out another copy and get it to me in the mail. Two more weeks go by and no registration. I called again today and spoke to Alex and asked him to just email me a copy and I would print it out myself. He asked for my email address and said he would send it. That was now 11 hours ago and still no email. I finally just gave up and went on the MA DMV website and had to pay $25 for a copy of my registration. It gets worse. This truck won't pass inspection. I went to two different places including another Dodge dealership and both failed the truck because the window tint is too dark. How is it legal or even ethical that Colonial South can sell anyone a truck or car that can't pass inspection. I don't carry a gauge around with me to test window tint. They should know or test window tint on vehicles they are selling to be sure they will pass inspection. When I told Alex about this he said "oh, just bring it by and I will have our guys take the tint off". Yes, sure....you guys can't even send me a simple piece of paper and you think I'm going to have you just haphazardly pull my window tint off because you screwed up? You shouldn't have had the truck up for sale or at least should have told me that it wouldn't pass inspection so that I could have decided for myself whether to go through with the sale. So now I've paid for a registration that should have been supplied to me free of charge AND have to pay to have the window tint removed and then replaced with legal tint. This dealership will do all it can to sell you a vehicle but don't expect the same level of professionalism for anything after the sale. Unless they have a vehicle up for sale that you can't find anywhere else I suggest you try another dealership. I won't be a return customer.

I would recommend this dealership to anybody that asked me. Everyone is very friendly courteous and is there to help you even if you have another sales person if they see you alone they ask you if you can be helped.
