If you want service after the sale..these guys are it! Car lost transmission and they replaced it free! You can buy with confidence. They have been here for 32 years!

I went into Tommy's today to look at a Chrysler 300 ask for the key so I could start it the guy rudely said do you want to start it or buy it I looked at him for a second and I said well I'm interested in it or I wouldn't ask to start it his remark was why you been in here before and didn't buy it the guy was a xxxxxxx very very rude I will never shop there again I've heard a lot of bad stories about this place I would say buyer beware if you shop at this place and I don't know if this man was the owner or a Salesman but he should be fired for being such a rude idiot.

It started with a phone call. "Does the 2012 Subaru Forester have a check engine light on? The photo doesn't show the dash." Though he seemed friendly, the salesman said, "well I'd have to go look but it shouldn't." "Can you check?" "I'd have to go out and look." He didn't want to go look. Made the trip, test drove it, bought it. Twelve miles out of town I got a tire pressure light. Stopped and checked pressures... LF was 28#, RF was 48#, RR was 65#, LR was 50#. Fixed tire pressures. It's now been a week. Car making VERY weird noise. Started troubleshooting. No oil. Seriously. No fricking oil. Dipstick is bone dry. Pulled the drain plug. Took a 3# sledge to get the stupid thing off. Pulled the filter. Took damaging the old filter to get it off. Getting new drain plug gasket now and adding oil. Afraid of what I will find. These guys will sell you with their line "We've been here for 30 years" as if crooks and hacks can't steal from people for 30 years. They sell cars "As-Is." Of course they're still there. They are making a killing. Don't trust their shop. Don't trust them. Very unsatisfied after paying twice what a base model stick shift Subaru is worth.

We had a great experience buying a used vehicle from Tommy's 9th Street Auto. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The vehicle was checked over and made sure it was all fixed up and ready to go before the sale. Over the phone service was not that great, but once I drove down and got to work with this team, they treated us very well. Highly recommended, I would shop here again.

Been trying to inquire about a car they have for sale but have not got a response from them. Left multiple messages but nothing back. Just lost a potential buyer.

Spend your money elsewhere. It was like pulling teeth to get the salesmen to send pictures of the car I was interested in. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him by asking about the car he had for sale. Once I finally got some of the pictures, he then informed me that they do not negotiate even $1 on there prices. Huge waste of time.

We are looking at 2 of there vehicles pulled auto check and carfax . They have had 5 to 6 owners the truck serviced regularly. The car has had a accident no air bags deployed . It needs a handle for rear door hatch. Need to still ask maintenance and still drive both vehicles.
