Mike Burton greeted us out on the lot.

Mike Burton greeted us out on the lot. He was very professional and personable. He answered all questions that were asked and very accommodating during the whole process. He helped us finding the right Grand Cherokee L that we wanted. It made the whole experience go smooth. Ben Haney was our finance manager, and he was very insightful in the whole process.

Selling car to buyer in saint Louis county should provide

Selling car to buyer in saint Louis county should provide emission inspection. They firstly lied that they have done it but could not find the paper file.(but no sticker on the window) And they asked me do it and said to offer a reimbursement. Then the next day, they argue the inspection is not required, and regret to offer the reimbursement. And they admit that they are not certifid to do emission test at all. Rediculous dealer.

I've never been treated so badly as I was treated at Don

I've never been treated so badly as I was treated at Don Vance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Marshfield, MO. I believe they do deceptive business practices. My son and I went to buy a RAM truck and had problem after problem with paperwork, pricing, and then financing lied to us and even after writing a check to buy the truck outright and completing the paperwork, they wouldn't let us drive it off the lot, and said we would have to come back days later to get it. Then the 30-day temp tag was only a 3-week temp tag, and they refused to give us a new one.

My husband and I drove one hour to test drive two cars.

My husband and I drove one hour to test drive two cars. Neither started (2025) left and never heard from dealership. Not good customer service. The manager should of reached out and apologized. The entire experience was horrible from the beginning.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your visit. We have reached out via email, that was the contact information we had on file. We understand how frustrating this situation was, and we always strive to keep our vehicles in top condition. While we make every attempt to monitor battery levels, colder weather can cause them to drain unexpectedly. We truly value your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to improve.

Extremely dishonest dealership!

Extremely dishonest dealership!!! Priced a 2024 RAM 1500 Laramie that had an MSRP of $72,415 and was showing a dealer discount of $17,929 with rebates from RAM totaling $4,500. This particular truck has hail damage, which would explain the sizeable dealer discount. I questioned the salesman about the manufacturer rebates, as it should have been a 15% off MSRP rebate instead of $4,500. That would have made the rebate from RAM, a total of $10,862. He acted like he had no idea what this rebate was. It is a national rebate, so everyone qualifies for it. This 15% off MSRP rebate would have added an additional discount off the truck of $6,362. When coupling that with the dealer discount (again on a truck that has hail damage), total discounts should have been $28,791, for a sale price of $43,624. Unfortunately when I questioned them about this, all of a sudden, they tell me that it doesn't matter if I take the $4,500 rebate showing on their website, or the 15% off MSRP rebate that I asked them about (which was $10,862), the price of the truck was going to be the same. This is the deceptive and dishonest part. They already had a dealer discount. That dealer discount should have been honored regardless of the rebates from RAM. Instead, they were going to lower the dealer discount so that I wouldn't get the additional $6K off, for taking a truck off their hands that has hail damage. Salesman had no good explanation for me other than it is at the discretion of the manager as to what the dealer discount will be on the vehicle. In other word, they can change it at anytime if it doesn't benefit them, despite already advertising it on their website. They only did that because they knew they were in a situation where they should have given me the extra discount. Instead, they chose to be dishonest and deceptive.

Dealer response

I completely understand the customers concern, while current incentive programs are very confusing we try to give the best price we can right up front. The truck in question has a 72k MSRP that is being sold for $49,986 for a 22k savings. This truck did have hail damage that has been mostly repaired. While we were glad to try and explain our pricing the concerned customer didnt like the explanation he was given even though the 49986 pricing was available to him he felt he deserved more. Its unfortunate that the concerned customer felt it necessary to post a negative review just because he didn't like our answers. Please feel free to check out this customers google review history, as he has over a dozen similar negative reviews of other dealers nationwide within the last month. We wish him the best in his endeavors

Consumer response

I didn’t like your answers because you chose to reduce your dealer discount only after you discovered that you had the incorrect manufacturer rebates advertised on your website. When this resulted in what should have been an additional $6K discount on this truck, you made up for that by dropping your dealer discount. That is dishonest and deceptive. It should not matter to you what rebates are offered by RAM. If you advertise a dealer discount, you should honor that regardless of manufacturer rebates. You did not do that in this situation. You can try however you like, but there is no valid justification you can provide for lowering your dealer discount. Your response here is comical and shows that you have no clue. In fact, I am the one that had to inform your dealership that you have the incorrect manufacturer rebates showing on your website for the 2024 model year RAM. Your salesman then asked me questions that he himself should have known, but evidently he isn’t informed enough to know. As long as I can provide pertinent information to potential Buyers, informing them of your deceptive pricing strategies, I am content. I wouldn’t have bought that truck, even if you would have sold it to me for a dollar. I don’t do business with immoral and unethical businesses such as yours.
