Bought my 2021 RAV4 Prime from SB Toyota (salesman was Marcos "Kiko" Galdamez....awesome dude) in April & had my 1st service on 29 Nov 21. Luis did a great job getting it done quickly. He & the Service staff were very professional and it reflects well on the dealership!
Great car buying experience love my new Venza
I went through my AAA membership car buying program. I was referred to Southbay Toyota. I received A call from Tina she explained that the car I wanted would not be in there store until the end of October or beginning of November. Anna contacted me when the car arrived Thank you Tina and Anna for a great car buying experience.
Pre-Ordered RAV4 with deposit
I put a deposit down on a car that I pre ordered and waited 2 months for the car to arrive. When it did Mr. Clements added tint and board runners (cost about $700 together) and marked the price of the car up $4,995. I was beside myself and they said that they did this because they have no other cars like this coming in (Due to COVID-19 Pandemic) and that they did not care if i bought the car anymore. So basically they tried to stick me with an extra $4,995 add on to a vehicle that I had already placed a deposit on. To me this is a scam due to the horrible time we are in due to the pandemic.
Signed written agreements aren't honored
Do not buy a new car here! I had agreed on a price with a sales representative over the phone, the DEAL was APPROVED and SIGNED by a manager. They had me come in, spend over an hour running my credit/signing paperwork and then instead of handing me the keys they decided to ask for significantly more money and tear up the signed contract. The manager's explanation, "you aren't going to walk away after all that"... well he was wrong, thanks for wasting a month of my time while I waited for the vehicle to arrive and my whole night. They changed written deals on me twice now, do not go here
I was car shopping, and they helped me right away , showed me all the different models they have as well as , the great service faculty they have there on the property, they also explained the monthly payment plan and offered me a fair deal on my trade , I will go back to them they are an excellent dealer .
BEST Internet sales dude in So Cal: Sam Hong
Sam Hong and Tina Frodge did what 5 other Toyota dealerships could not. They were honest when they did not have what I wanted THEN found it and shipped it in. Every other dealer is clueless with internet based sales. Sam Hong was the exception. He understands. Go anywhere else and you are wrong. I had given up and was headed to purchase a Ford Ranger. With 5 or 6 fast email exchanges and three days time I had my truck and they got my money.

When things were looking grim for the future of my business and Ford, Dodge and Chevy were just too much to afford, Sam from Toyota gave my hope back with a beautiful TRD 4x4 Tundra. I am in love with this truck. Sam worked with the numbers I brought him and walked me into exactly what I needed and was looking for. We had a great time throughout the entire process, these guys really know what they're doing over there. If Sam can't get you behind the wheel of the Toyota you want for the price you can afford, no one there can. All in all, the only qualm I have is no more Supra, they would be pleasing many of their enthusiasts including me if they brought it or something like it back.... but they are, without doubt, the most affordable and reliable vehicles on the road. Period. You're silly if you don't at least consider a Toyota. Do yourself a favor. Talk to Sam Hong and check 'em out.
