Clean title promised once our check cleared. Check cleared in 7 days, title arrived 3 weeks later. Title had no liens but was a third party title. Very... messy to get cleaned up and re titled. Bailey's owner is a first date jerk in my opinion. He won't return phone calls or emails. According to the Va. Division of Motor Vehicles, Bailey's is setup to do titling work so pay cash and make sure you get a clean title before you leave. Sales guy was nice. Facility was filthy. I will not but there again.
Great group of guys to buy from! The owner and salesman are very straight forward with what you're wanting to purchase. If you're looking for a CHEAP vehicle... that's the place to go. Went in looked at a truck, drove it, and purchased in 30 minutes. Definitely going to continue business with them.
i saw the car on cars.com find out baileys auto have the car, orignaly i was going to pay over the phone and have them deliver the car to me because i live... 248 miles away from the dealership, but how ever i look at the ratting of the dealer ship it is pretty bad so i decided to drive there to make sure im getting what im looking at so i send them an email the next bus.day a person name cam called and said that the car is still there and this was on monday since i had such a hard time to find this particular car,i told him that i am going to take of work tommarow to drive there and buy the car,he said that usually they are not selling during the week days,so i said can i leave a deposite he said that they dont take deposit sales is base on first come first buy,he suggested to call on friday night before i take 5 hours drive and if the car is there still there he will for sure hold it for me,which i did call at 5pm he said belive it or not someone just pulled in and test driving it now, then he said if they dont buy it he will let me know,i coudnt wait i called him back at 5:55 he said the person who was driving something happen to his wife and he had to rush and he will come back tommarow with his wife if she feeles better, to look at the car again,so i said what if i make it there tommarow at 9 am when they open can i look at the car and if its ok to buy it,he said since i have to drive 5 hours he does not recommanded but however they do not take deposite on any cars and the based on first come first serve,so if i get there and the other pepole are not there i can buy it,i left at 4 am got there at 9 test drove the car and it was as they advertized,so i bought the car, after i decided to buy the car the whole process including installing a tag did not take any more than 30 min. i asked him why they have such a bad ratting he said other than good cars they also sell cars that are between 500 to a 1000 dollers and those car usually somthing is wrong with them and the customer who buying these kind of car they have been told ahead of time ,but they buy the car on way home or somedays latter somthing brakes that they already konw about ,but how ever not happy ,since they are selling over 200 cars a month thats how they have such bad ratting.......the thing that i liked about this dealer is that they did not wash the engine so i can see if there is any oil leak under the car ...the reason i gave them 5 stars because the dealers normally want to sell they dont care how far you have to drive but cam was very worried about how far i have to drive and possibility of the car not being there.
I was in the market for a late model vehicle that I could pay cash for, that would still last me a while. I found just that. There were so many vehicles... to choose from. Very worth the drive. Thank you guys!
Rick was very kind and helpful. We found a dependable used vehicle for my son to drive back and forth to work after spending way too much money on repairs... of the Saturn I bought him 5 years ago. He was stranded at work and I had to pick him up and find a vehicle fast. After almost giving up we stopped at Bailey's Auto Sales and I paid cash for the car and drove it home. It only took about 30 minutes and we were on our way. Thank you, Rick!
This is the fourth car that we have purchased from Bailey's no problems at all!!!
I've bought two cars at Bailey's, the first one in 2015. Cars are as is so you'd have to get them checked out before buying. The salesman stress that so... you aren't surprised. Both my cars don't have low miles but they run great. My opinion is that Bailey's may not be for everyone, if you don't like the cars then shop elsewhere. After buying my car in March I took my daughter in there and she purchased her own car and it still runs fine.
We have bought a few cars from Baileys and have always gotten a great deal and excellent service, this time we had the privilege of meeting Justin he wasn't... harassing or over the top (which is why I hate going to big dealers) he was friendly and gave us time to figure out what we wanted not pushy at all we ended up buying a 2006 Ford Five Hundred.... Very satisfied at this point, the only thing I wasn't the happiest about was that it was needing an oil change right away other than that everything was superb! They seem to take pride in their business which makes me believe they care about the customer just as much.
I searched for weeks looking for a clean and dependable vehicle and was getting very discouraged at what i saw for sale in the surrounding areas. I hated... wasting my time listening to sales pitches from numerous car salesmen! I stopped in Bailey's because this car dealership has so many vehicles to choose from and prices are very reasonable! I bought a jeep liberty that was clean and very dependable! This dealership went out of his way to accommodate our needs with honest and fast service!!
Bailey normally gets his cars from other dealers in the area that don't want to put them on their lot due to high mileage or condition. Always a good idea... to inspect the car in person and not rely on the pics on their site.
