"DIESELS DIESELS AND MORE DIESELS"
These guys were cool to do business with. Not pushing a vehicle on you! They answered all the questions that I asked. I went here to buy a good used truck.... I prayed before I stepped foot on their lot and we talked business. First time buying a diesel truck, so they walked me through the steps. I'd go here rather than to a fast talking city slicker. Visit and buy was pleasant! Will tell the fellas to swing by. Thanks dudes!
Went to see a truck that looked to be in decent condition from the pics. Engine light is on. Airbag light is on. I could see a weld from obvious previous... damage. Scratches and dents aren’t shown in the pictures. These guys are crooks crooks crooks.
helped with repairs after purchase . treated me better than any dealer I have done business with. I live in Miss. and will buy here again. Bruce
Seems like the owner can do no wrong looking at all the responses to the bad reviews I hopped a jet Rented a car after putting 500 down on a truck No... one showed where the truck was Left it up to the truck repair place to show the truck Completely misrepresented the truck And Wanted to argue about how many times i called to ask for help Need to pull their hsad out of the rear end and see that they need to up the customer service a bit so it doesnt look like its all about the money
Got a purchase agreement from them on a vehicle at 9:30am, was approved for financing at local credit union prior to "picking out the truck", wasted all... day supposedly for title (which of course the bank needs, duh) but wait... Boardwalk Motors doesn't have the "stupid" title. Wasted 2 days on this untrustworthy company. Stay away, buyers beware!!!
Bought 2006 F250 from them. Battery was dead when I arrived. They said someone left the door open. Drove it back to Oklahoma. Before I got back I had... a check engine light. Broke down on the road 50 miles from my house. Ford Dealer said it had multiple error codes that had been reset. $4000 later it is now drivable. Go somewhere else.
I'm an out of town customer and I bought a truck from them about a 3 weeks ago. I was supposed to pick up the truck 11/7 so I called on 11/6 to confirm... that the truck would be ready to go and I was assured that it would be ready by noon 11/7. I showed up at 12:30 and not only was the truck not on the lot, no one at the dealership knew where the truck was. After about 30 minutes of searching, they realized the truck was still at the mechanics shop where they sent it to get an upgraded EGR. It was still being worked on, and had to be detailed after that so they said to come back in 1.5 hours. Called them 1.5 hours later and got no answer but received a call shortly after from mechanic who said he was still working on the truck and would not be done with it for another 1.5 hours. Went to the dealership and talked to the salesman who said they were very sorry and that they would deliver the truck to my parents house (local) by 5:30 pm that day. 5:30 rolls around, no truck. Call back to the salesman who claims he thought he was supposed to deliver it the next day. They finally deliver the next morning and the check engine light was on along with several minor dents and scratches and one major scratch that was not shown in any pictures. Salesman claimed the light was just on because of the EGR upgrade and that I just needed to have the light reset. Took it to a mechanic when I got home who read the check engine light was on because of the glow plugs. Truck runs terribly when cold and will not move regardless of how much throttle is given until it warms up. Tried to get the dealership to take responsibility and fix the problems the next time I was in town (~2 weeks later) but they were unwilling to take the truck on my schedule, despite the fact that I called a week in advance to set up a time to have it serviced. After that I asked them to take the truck back and give me a refund, even offered to pay for the miles that I had put on the truck, but that request was ignored.
Bought a truck from this dealership and was told that the Carfax report showed no accidents. Upon further inspection of the vehicle it has been wrecked.... It will cost about $5000 to repair the damage. Not being very knowledgeable about buying a used vehicle I feel like they saw me coming and decided to put the screws to me. I hope that they feel good about themselves and that they know that if they continue to business this way they will most definitely get a bad reputation. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S PROBLEMS.
As a dealership all we can go by is the Carfax We were not the previous owners of this truck. If the previous owner had a wreck and decide to fix it t...hemselves or pay for it out of pocket (and not report it to their insurance company) then it doesn't go on the CarFax and we don't know about it. And furthermore if there were $5,000 worth of damage to the truck then that would have been fairly noticeable and the customer shouldn't have committed to buy.
Don't waste your time with Boardwalk Motors especially if you have to drive a distance to look at their vehicles. First off the pictures they post that... looks like some car lot is not representative of the actual lot which is nothing but rocks and mud pits. Drove two hours to look at a truck just to find out the truck had several dents that were not show in the picture. The check engine light was on along with the air bag light. Overall I recommend to anyone that is any distance away not to waste your time. He only posts pictures of vehicles that don't reflect the actual problems with the vehicles. This is why his prices are lower. Hope this helps at least one person from wasting their time.
Our dealership has since moved to a different location and we no longer have this problem! We have a very pretty paved lot and showroom.
