In September 2023, I purchased a 2023 Jeep Compass from this dealership, and I have been treated with the utmost respect from everyone that I have ever dealt with. I have dealt with several dealerships throughout my life, and I must say that this dealership location has some of the best people that I have ever dealt with. The professionalism and kindness I have experienced from everyone there have been nothing short of exceptional. This includes the sales personnel, the finance department, and the service department. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. I would also like to specially thank Roger Martinez, Denise Ennen, and Diego Rivera in the service department for always giving me top-notch service!

Oh and nobody returns calls.
Oh and nobody returns calls..... I bought a used 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the ECO-diesel....... Purchase was made at your Hemet location and I must say, the best overall vehicle I have ever owned. Now unfortunately, its been sitting at the local dealer for the last 3 months. Here is what happened: The engine suffered the dreaded bearing failure which is not uncommon for the ECO-diesel with the GEN 2 engine. I dropped the vehicle off at the local dealer (Crown in Chattanooga TN, yes we moved) They diagnosed it with rod knock, and confirmed the bearing failure. I started the claim process with the warranty company. Gave them a ~week to do their thing and neither I or the dealer had heard anything from them so I called several more times and finally got the claim approved. After approval I had to call again to find the status. I was told unbeknownst to me/dealer that they shipped a used engine. This is where it starts going south..... When they made the decision as to how they will fix the issue, that locks me into a $ amount they will cover. How convenient for them. They told nobody what they were doing or that it had it shipped. In talking with the dealer several times, I found out they are refusing to install a used engine as it will turn into a unreliable mess for them. What am I supposed to do now? This is serious, 3 months with out a car, and thousands in rental car fees. I cant afford this......... So I then called the warranty company and had them tell me about this used engine. All they could say is, it has 61k miles on it. I asked how do we know its good? We went back and forth and it boiled down to, they shipped it, therefore its good, are you kidding me! These ECO-Diesels are NOT, known good engines. Here is what I asked. -Does it have the fuel pump recall done like my engine? -Has the intake manifold had the soot level checked? -Has it had a leak down test? -Has the pan been pulled to verify the oil pickup tube is clear and bearings checked? Obviously none this has been done and they expect the dealer to do this for free or, get this, I have to pay for it! Those tests are the bare minimum that needs to be done. Then and only then can you say "it looks good". I also called the company who shipped the engine, and they test nothing...... Oh and they said they will make arrangements to ship the used engine back, this leaves me with a expensive boat anchor and totally screwed. I really don't know what to do next so here I am. Maybe file a complaint with the California Department of Insurance but will put this off until I hear back from you. I do know for a fact (inside information), that these companies make exceptions all the time and I believe one needs to be made here, put in a new engine.

I have never had the process of buying a car or truck be
I have never had the process of buying a car or truck be so absolutely painless as it was working with Steve Scott. Steve took care of me, found me and my wife exactly what we needed and didn't try to upsell me on features because he was clear on what we wanted and knew that that was the best way to keep us happy. I would 100% buy a car from Steve again. Roxanne worked with the finance department and with Steve to go ahead and make sure that our needs were met. We were treated respectfully, courteously, offered drinks and never talked down to or made to feel like we were being sold something we didn't want or need. I would absolutely buy from this dealer and from Steve.

Steve Scott and Roxanne really took care of us.
Steve Scott and Roxanne really took care of us. They took in our trade, hunted for rebates, and found us a truck that satisfied all of our needs without breaking the bank. 10/10 would buy from both Hemet CDJR and Steve Scott again.

This dealership has the worst service center.
This dealership has the worst service center. Dropped off my Jeep January 6th 2025. Our Jeep was purchased at this dealership (which I regret ever going there to purchase a vehicle). Our service representative was Roger Martinez. Roger was impossible to get ahold of. Didn’t get a diagnostic invoice till 1/14/25 Had a cylinder 5 misfire code and they wanted to charge me almost 10,000 to fix. Went in to see what my other options are and was told by salesman Johan to let my vehicle get repossessed and to purchase another vehicle from them right away while my credit was still good!!! I was appalled.I went a different route and contacted Crysler manufacturer and they helped with the repair cost because they obviously sold us a Lemon! We already had to get the clutch plate fixed because of a recall.it took two months for my vehicle to get fixed. Roger would never answer or return my calls for updates on my vehicle. I had to rent vehicle for two months and paid over 1400 for it. Dealership never offered to give a loaner while my car was in the dealership service center. After serveral attempts to call Roger we were finally able to have the GM Sergio contact us. He wasn’t any help either and basically said “we don’t pay for rental cars or offer them”. After two months I was finally able to pick up my jeep march 8th my entire passenger floorboard was flooded. I paid 5400 for repairs and car rental for the crappiest auto service ever! Not to mention getting the vehicle detailed because the service center only wanted to put fans on to dry it! I was barely contacted today 3/12 by Margrett the customer relations representative by a blocked caller ID, to basically say “oh I’m so sorry about your experience, let me inform my GM Sergio and call you back today.figured Sergio never helped to begin with. Never got a call back. Do Not Ever Go HERE!!!

My wife and I recently purchased a new jeep from the Hemet Dealership. We had a very professional, courteous and knowledgable Salesman named Robert. The Sales Manager was also extremely helpful and he negotiated a fair deal for all parties. Robert went above and beyond after the deal was completed. He spent over 30 minutes showing us all the bells and whistles that came with the vehicle. We would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle.
