Chris Ogene and Isaac Inkoom at Fitzgerald are a great

n Gaithersburg Maryland!

n Gaithersburg Maryland! I am sorry it took me so long to write this review, but it needed to be written. We think that the people should be able to buy the car they want without all the song/dance and lies that is the stock and trade of most car dealers we have met/interacted with over the years. Chris is the exception to whatever you think a car dealer is— he is forthright, honest and crystal clear. He does what he says he will do, plain and simple. Here is our story: It all started when my valiant (but aging) 2006 Prius was sideswiped and squashed on Christmas Eve in 2024, while parked next to my house on a residential street. It was deemed a total loss. So we went on “Prius quest” for a new car in the greater northwestern Virginia area. We contacted lots of dealers— and many more contacted me with promises of cars that either never existed, or that were miraculously “sold” when we came to look. Every dealer has an alternate car that was “just as good or better”than what we wanted— they said. “Priuses are hard to come by” said others. Every dealer put me on speed dial/email streaming to tell me about a car that we did not want, or promising a Prius that is “just coming in.” Lies— all lies. Then we found Chris Ogene at Fitzgerald Motors. He not only had a 2024 Prius, but it was also the color we preferred— wind chill pearl. We were skeptical— having been bait and switched to death at this point—but he set us up the following day to do a test drive on this 2024 white Prius.  We went to Gaithersburg, MD— which is a haul from the upper Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia where we live— around 1 and 1/2 hours— not counting traffic delays. We took that leap of faith— and when we got there (2 hours later), Chris was on top of everything. He had the car we liked. He arranged a test drive and answered all our questions— including questions that we had not even thought to ask. He was the most straight forward car salesman we have ever dealt with. He let the car sell itself.  We expressed concern about cost of repairs on all the new computer assisted features— a valid concern since there was talk of tariffs and surcharges on parts from other countries. He sent us to discuss warranty and protection options with the specialist at Fitzgerald Motors. This man simply set out the various costs — BEFORE Tariffs or surcharges might kick in—— for various “worst case scenarios.” (My husband is a “what if/worse case scenario” kind of guy). The likelihood of these items/features failing was extremely low; the cost to repair or replace various items (particularly the computerized warning features that drew us in to the Prius in the first place) was much higher than I had expected. WE opted for the best coverage available to us, not because anyone pushed us to do it, but because they laid out the options so straight forwardly, we were able to make an informed choice.  Our last Prius lasted from 2006- 2024— 18 years and nearly 300,000 miles. The biggest problem we had with it was people cutting out and stealing the catalytic converter, which apparently has some significant value. We bought the new Prius from Chris and his people, and we could NOT be HAPPIER. Shortly after we bought our new Prius, tariffs were announced— making us all the more grateful that we found a man to sell us a car without pressure or false promises. Chris had what he said he did, and we were able to drive away with our car the same day.  The bottom line is this: If you want false promises and bait and switch, do not go to Chris Ogene at Fitzgerald Motors. If you know what you want,  or can at least have a clear idea of the features and options you require, just ask Chris. I came here because of their selection of used cars that

I came here because of their selection of used cars that I browsed online as well as a previous positive experience last year. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted by Andres. He listened to my parameters and showed me a car right away (the one I wound up buying). We also checked out others online at his desk. I felt respected and understood by Andres during our entire interaction. He’s very knowledgeable, genuine, and friendly too. The buying process (cash sale) was very easy and efficient. Everyone was very friendly! We all even shared photos of our human and dog kids. I’ve been to other dealerships where the employees came off phony and frankly slimy. Not so here!! Great experience!

For many of us, purchasing a new vehicle can be a little

For many of us, purchasing a new vehicle can be a little stressful..but not with Chris! I have purchased many cars, and without question, the experience with Chris was fantastic. He sincerely listened to what I was looking for and clearly explained the vehicles that matched my requirements. It was very easy and also very low pressure which was appreciated. The vehicle that I chose needed to have some service work performed before I could take delivery. Chris was diligent in updating me with the vehicle status and then scheduled an appointment with the finance department to limit my waiting time - that was very much appreciated. We all know that Toyota makes great vehicles, but finding a sales representative that makes the buying process smooth & easy is just an added bonus. Thank you Chris for being a professional!
