If I can, I would give this place no stars at all. It doesn’t even deserve a single star! This week, we were speaking with an employee named Jesus O.... We were set to see a vehicle with him. We communicated via email the whole time and he made it seem like everything was fine. We updated him of the estimated time we would get there since we lived pretty far away and there was so much traffic driving up to the dealership. He said no problem and that he’ll see us there. Well guess what? When we got there, another employee told us that Jesus WAS ACTUALLY NOT THERE. (Ok weird) Then, the second employee showed us the vehicle we were interested in, let us be for a couple of minutes then came back to tell us the vehicle was already sold.... I am not bitter about the vehicle being bought by someone else. What bothers us is the fact that Jesus O. made us drive ALMOST 2 HOURS to the dealership just to get there to be ghosted and be told that what we came for is actually not available anymore after we wasted our time and money on gas. It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I have worked with customer service and it does not take effort nor time to simply send a message to update your clients. He could have saved us so much time rather than having us drive almost 2 hours, then not show himself and have someone else do the job of telling us. That definitely is not a professional way to handle situations. SO IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE DECEIVED AND DISRESPECTED, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I hope this review helps you so you can save your time to spend in a place which is actually worth it.

Purshased Ford Flex 2015 The service was great felt very comfortable. Like a home welcomed. Staff very professional. Great positive attitude. Very efficient,... making sure all needs were being met. Thank you to Michael in the finance department for his great effort did fantastic. I felt like I was talking to a good friend.Liked that great up beat sense of humor. My husband and I went In to look for a bigger car as our family Is growing, Mike and George not only allowed us to trade our current vehicle but gave us... a 1.9% Interest and a super low payment for our new car!! W have the worst credit and they helped us and worked with our budget and literally gave us a new car for a super awesome deal!! I will definitely reccoment this dealer to anyone who ask!

Called about a truck that was on order. I was told to come in the next day to purchase the truck. After talking about price, I wanted to contract on the... truck and leave a deposit. After my salesperson talk with management, I was informed that I could not contract on the truck until it arrived. The truck was due to arrive about 7 days later on 5 Sep. On 13 Sep I was told the truck would arrive on the 15th. I had to call after the 15th to ask for information, the dealership provided nothing. Now it is 28 Sep, no truck and poor communication. There is no way this dealership will ever get my business on this vehicle or any in the future. Not sure what they are in business to do. Very disappointed, they made it hard to buy a vehicle, very strange.
We purchased a van which we love. That is the only thing good that come from doin business with this dealership. We traded in two vehicles which now almost... a month later have not been paid off by the dealership. I have made payments on both of those vehicles even though I no longer own them and they are in possession of the dealership. No one from the General Manager down has returned phone calls or given us as much as an after thought. Having to pay payments on two vehicles I no longer own and on the new vehicle we got from North County dwindled our bank account to zero leaving us with $12 in our account for two weeks between paydays. Upon going to the dealership in person I was told there was nothing “He” could do. The GM, the finance team, NO ONE will return our calls. Needless to say the BBB, yelp, every avenue we have to address this issue is being taken. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NORTH COUNTY FORD!
Be careful to not be hustled into buying the LoKack for $750. They forget to inform you that you are buying this option (yes, they will sell a car without... LoJack. You will only get the best financing rate for which you qualify if you purchase the extended warranty. When negotiating price, you will have to make them feel like they “have won”. Complaining to the GM is ineffective. He will tell you that you did not have the experience you had because his guys would “never say/do that”. Avoid North County Ford.
My lease was ending on a ford fusion from them and I made an appointment to return the car and hopefully purchase another one. I had received some advice... and numbers from my brother. I went into my appointment with a bottomline sales price - out the door and for a loan. After almost 2 hours of back and forth financing & number shenanigans with RC and the guy at the sales desk who called my brother a moron - I chose to walk away. In fact - RC left the desk and I was going back and forth with the desk guy - I finally got fed up and told them - you asked me for my bottom line price and if you couldnt do the deal - you should have told me. I ended up finding a 2018 version of my 2015 car and purchased it from Escondido Ford. When I called to tell RC that - he asked what my monthly payment was and when I told him - he said "oh they got one over on you" ... WHAT? who says that to a customer? I will NEVER go back to or recommend this dealership even though they are close to my home. Ford should be appalled to be associated with these people.
First time Ford buyer. Dealership is friendly, no high pressure sales, very knowledgeable salesman, Sean. Have already recommended this dealership to... many other people and will continue to do so.
Worst car buying experience possible. They called me up claiming they had a great deal on the model I was looking but I had to get it that night. I bit,... come to find out it was the night before they marked down their entire fleet by 1500 to 2000... I had been shopping here for a couple months, visiting the same salesman, and waiting for the price to drop on a particular model (which they had four of). I was prepared to wait another month when a received a call from a different salesperson. They told me if I came in that night they would come down another 500. That required me to come off my budget some, however, i liked the car and I trusted them. Shame on me. The very next day I received an email notification that the four vehicles I had been following (all the same model, including the one I had purchased) at north county ford had there prices reduced significantly. What could I do about it? Nothing of course, "I had signed a contract" was the response received from every "manger" they pushed my way. They did offer me a free oil change... for a plug-in hybrid that won't need oiI for another 2 years or 20,000 miles. It ended with the general manager (a "Todd Neilsen" whom I have never seen at the dealership during normal business hours) hanging up on me after telling me that the model I purchased was the only one on the lot at the time. Yup I'm a sucker. The take-aways; if the deal is that good, it'll be there tomorrow, never trust a car salesman, and never buy anything from north county ford.
