"Your muscle car and truck connection"
I brought a 2003 GMC from Mike at Salem Autosports and could not have been Happier with the entire experience. I flew in from Myrtle Beach SC and he arranged... to have me picked up. He said the truck was great and he was right. I drove it over a 1000 miles home without any issues. The truck is great Thanks again Mike.
Went for a test drive. They weren't pushy and they were upfront and straightforward.
We bought a 2500 HD truck for landscaping and plowing right before last winter. Not a single issue all winter long and its still going strong pulling... large loads of debris and concrete. Thanks fellas and we look forward to seeing you again. Usually great inventory
My wife and I drove up from the Chicagoland area. We received a great deal on a 7.3L diesel F350. The truck's alternator went out, but we had nothing to... worry about. Mike sent his mechanic out and the alternator was replaced within minutes. Great experience, worth the trip up!
The car that this place sold me said everything was all ready to go, however, the car that they sold me was not. It lasted not even a full year nor did... it last 10,000 miles. They did not even bother looking into the interior of the engine to notice that the timing belts or any of the sensors needed to be replaced. They state sold as is and fill out paperwork claiming everything will be fine. This is not the only issue. When Ibfirst bought the car tires were low on tread, oil was black, coolant leak that i needed to take care of and oil leak when i first bought it. Not only do these people say you will be on your own, but they will leave you on your own. Just got off with the phone with one of workers that sold me the car and stated just basics were checked. I will not buy from them again and hopw that this review makes you thinm twice before you buy.
We take pride in offering a wide selection of used vehicles at the most competitive prices. Used vehicles are not guaranteed to be free of mechanical ...issues. There is a reason new vehicles come with a warranty, anything can happen at any time to something that is mechanical. Issues that come up almost a year down the line are out of our control. We do our best to make sure the vehicles we sell are safe and run well.
I was looking for an older Explorer for a potential plow truck. Mike & Brandon (father and son) had two for the same price that I was interested in. Brandon... gave me the keys to both, and let me take as much time as I wanted evaluating them. No pressure whatsoever. I bought the Eddie Bauer rather than the Sport (no surprise) for what I felt was a very fair price. On a big dealer's lot, I'm convinced this truck -- sharp, well equipped and with minimal rust -- would have been $1,000 more. If you prefer to buy from smaller, no-frills dealers and/or family businesses stop in here. They are off the beaten path, but it was worth the drive from Milwaukee for me.
I called this seller several times and asked about 2004 Pathfinder and I was given details concerning the car. Having read some of the reviews about him... I felt bad but because I m not the type of guy who judge people based on what others said I decided to drive 1 hour 30 mins to his car lot. In fact seeing and dealing with the seller made my day great. All he describe and said was as he stated and their customer service was excellent. Kudos Salem Autos
Very honest people unfortunately the vehicle was not big enough for our needs, but tbey were very nice and honest to our family!
If your looking for a good price and capable of making your own judgment and repairs this is a great place for you. Not saying they don't have some good... vehicles; they just don't do much with them, thereby keeping the prices down. If your the kind of person who wants a warranty,378 point inspection, coffee, donuts, tv, and someone to tell you how great the vehicle is; then buy from a big dealership. I really liked how they gave me the keys to what I asked for and left me alone unless I asked them for something. No problems with truck I bought yet, knock on wood, but lets face it you get what you pay for. All in all great dealership for some but not for others.
Fast calls back, relliable, extremely nice people who are willing to help.
