Fantastic dealer, no dealer fees, hand picked car

I have purchased 3 cars from this dealer. Never had a problem, but if I did he would take care of it at his cost. His cars are all hand picked and ready for the road.


Fantastic Experience

I traveled from Atlanta, Ga. to purchase a vehicle. Trip was well worth it. Rys went out of his way to make sure the vehicle was road worthy prior to my return trip. However, there was a issue that surfaced upon my travel back to Atlanta. Even though the vehicle was sold “as is,” when I told Rys of the issue, he made sure the vehicle was repaired and that I was completely satisfied. He did exactly what he said he would do. Truly a person of high integrity. I’ll buy from him again.

Great Car Buying Experience

Excellent customer Service from Dusty , after seeing what I call my dream car on Carfax , I sent a message to dealership and Dusty contacted me the next day , My wife and I got a flight out to Florida a few days later and he (Dusty)keep in touch with me by phone until I arrived in Florida .He then came back to the dealership at 9pm to close the deal. I came all the way from NC to get car ,drove it back with no problems .To my surprise it had 4 new tires on it , It was a great experience

Rhys was wonderful to work with and went beyond the call of duty to make certain that my car was properly prepared to drive. His inventory is excellent and his prices are competitive. It's the first place I'll go in the future when looking for a fine used car.


Integrity and honesty their corners

I have purchased many cars and trucks in my life, but the experience I had with Rhys at Slaughters exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ve driven by Slaughters for years but never stopped until one of their advertisements caught my attention and their motto, selling nice cars to nice people. I have stalked their lot for months and missed one vehicle I had my eyes on and settled for another at a traditional dealership in Ocala. Almost every negative perception of buying from a dealership was on display throughout the process. At Slaughters, I had the complete opposite experience. I was left alone to preview vehicles which were unlocked on the lot of maybe 30 cars. My first impressions of cleanliness, excellent condition and unique to distinctive selection of vehicles told me this is not any car lot. Then, I met Rhys. At first I thought....is he real? He was polite, articulate, knowledgeable, professional and gave you a sense he could be trusted. The vehicle I was interested in was a ML350. It was detailed to perfection. However, the exterior and interior condition was 9.5/out of 10 and left me wondering did it need detailing. It was extraordinarily clean and in like-new condition. Rhys’s comfort level with allowing me to road test the vehicle over night gave me increased comfort that not only was he for real, so are the vehicles he offers for sale. We ultimately road tested two vehicles. Rhys willingly provided information requested on both, but we never felt pressured to purchase either one. In fact, he was careful to not share his preference on the vehicles until our needle was moving in the direction of the ML. It’s not fair to associate the terms dealership or used car lot with Slaughter. The have earned their reputation one vehicle at a time and now they can add one more car buyer to their growing list of customers that had their expectations exceeded from the time I arrived on the lot to the moment we shook hands and drove away. As we pulled away, not only was I pleased with the ML350, but I couldn’t help but feel amazed about the experience we left behind. Thank you, Rhys and to the few other people who work behind the scenes to make buying a vehicle a pleasure. We’ll return........

Always agreat experience at Lee Slaughter

On vacation in Crescent Beach, I noticed a very cool Jeep for sale nearby. Lee Slaughter is well known to me from their reputation and my experience with them in Rehoboth Beach DE. I contacted Rhys via email who was leaving town and met with Mark in person. I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle from this dealership. They are top notch, have terrific product and are extremely knowledgeable. These people care more about cars and customers than the business of making a buck and value long term relationships.
