Service repair

As a consumer I am concerned how the service guys missed a leaking strut. Found out 2 days after a service that my strut was leaking. A year ago I was told if I did a leveling kit, it would not void the warranty. Service rep now tells me it?s no longer covered under warrant, because as of 2 months ago gmc said it would void the warranty adding a leveling kit.

Not a great service experience

While my buying experience was good. My service today was awful. I was informed I had a leak in my transmission so went in immediately…my car has 10,000 miles. No appointment for 2-3 weeks and no rental available. After venting, they decided they could at least look at it, it would take no less than 2-3 hours. No cars for emergencies?

Horrible Service

Called in on 12/16/21 to schedule a service appointment and the earliest they could schedule was 1/4/22 @ 7:45AM. On 1/4/22 I Checked the truck in and got an uber home. Upon returning at 3:14PM to grab something out of the truck I was taken to the back lot. The truck had a mat and seat cover, I figured diagnostics have been completed and was waiting on parts? I return the following afternoon on 1/5/22 to discover from another advisor that my truck has not even been looked at, they checked it in and drove it straight to the back lot. At this point i am not sure what a "scheduled appointment" is ? The truck was in the back lot for over 28 hours with nothing done to it. Needless to say i pulled the truck out of service on 1/5/22 as it can sit just as good at my house as it does in the back lot. Worst experience i have ever had with a vehicle and service by far !

Shady sales tatic

This a bad place to buy GMC vehicles. They sit me down for 3 hours run my credit and try to sell me a lower end truck when they knew exactly which one I wanted and then they raise the price by like 4500$ after they had all the paper work. Horrible sales tactic! Beware

Unsatisfied

Its was my first brand new car with motor city of bakersfield and it will be my last. I would go to another competitor for my next new car. They have in my opinion, shady business practices. I refuse to get another vehicle with this company.

DON’T DO IT

When I brought my car in i only needed an oil change. When I left with my car, my car wouldn’t start once i got home. I had to return to GMC after I received a jump , they didn’t fix the problem at all they only told me “we aren’t sure why it’s doing this but now it’s starting so bring it back in case it does it again” and it’s been doing it again. My engine before i took my car into was perfectly fine, after receiving the car back, the engine now shakes hard and makes weird noises it didn’t make before and mainly when the air is on. Whatever they did messed up my car battery, the engine and the Bluetooth in my vehicle which doesn’t connect to my phone anymore. I went and got a second consultant from somewhere else because GMC DIDN’T help me and do their job like they were suppose to and they told me that GMC had bent my car battery cords and didn’t tighten one of the nobs, so that is why the car wasn’t starting properly. I wouldn’t recommend GMC to anyone at all with the crappy service they did the only “good thing” they did was change my oil and they barley did a good job at that because the oil is still a bit dirty.

Amazing customer service!

Anthony Cisneros was the salesman that helped me with purchasing my Yukon Denali. I reached out to him and he promptly had me bring the Yukon in. Originally he even offered to come all the way to my office and take in for me but I was scheduled to be off of work that day. The fact that Anthony has gone above on beyond during the sale but most importantly after reassures me that we will be buying again from Motor City GMC. I can't thank Anthony enough for his diligence.
