Used Car

We found a car at hertz and schedule and appointment with Travis,we set everything up to purchase the car,but Travis let it happen that the car been sold in between,so much for setting an appointment.it looks to me that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.i recommend to purchase a car somewhere else unless you like to live with disappointments

SCAMMING PEOPLE DURING CORONAVIRUS!

SCAMMERS!!! In the business of kicking people when they are down. Jeffrey Bersine was our sales person, he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. These people are complete scammers. We bought a car from them, gave a deposit, got required insurance and signed all the paperwork. Then they requested additional documentation after the fact. We cannot provide this documentation because there is a pandemic going on. Now they are demanding the car back and are telling us we will have to wait 6-8 weeks for our down payment back. They failed to hold up their end of the deal. We are a family who have gone trough many hard times and were so happy to have a nice car finally. We were going to take our son on a nice trip this summer but no longer can because we were tricked. After all the pain and loss going on in this world and our lives especially, they have added to our pain. I always rented from them and was even in their loyalty club. Never again. It’s no wonder they went bankrupt, I guess karma does

Go see these guys

Hansel was great. Very professional and personable. I got a great car at a great price and with the no haggle pricing, you just test drive, look over the car without the salesman yammering in your ear, ask your questions, and make your decision. It’s that simple. No pressure what so ever. The paperwork was done quickly and your on your way. Best car buying experience I’ve ever had.

Sold broken car.

On September 15, 2018 I purchased a 2016 Dodge Charger from Beaverton Hertz Car Sales. This car at the time had 37,184 miles on it. At the time of repairs the car had 39,748 miles. Roughly 2564 miles driven. On November 30, I was heading to work around 8 am after a doctor appointment, heading east on TV Highway at or around Hall Street when a weird sound started. I quickly pulled into a parking lot of a bank and proceeded to inspect the vehicle. At this time I found that the front right wheel was at a 70 – 80’ angle. Ball joint failure. I then notified the closes Dodge dealer and got the vehicle towed to xxxxx Country Dodge, Hillsboro. After an inspection, I was informed that this vehicle appears to have hit a curb that caused the damage to create the for mentioned. There was even a bolt missing. They said that they could not repair this vehicle under the power train warranty due to the fact it had been wrecked and was not the fault of Dodge. I then contact Hertz of the situation and they informed me that they are not liable because of some made up reason. The car was supposed to be inspected by a 3rd party inspection which no longer works for them. I was also informed that this would have to go through Corporate, and they, Jason, would file a report. That was on the 1th and today is the 12th. I have not heard from them yet. It is obvious that this vehicle did not go through an inspection. After the repairs were complete I had Dodge do a complete inspection on the vehicle. If an inspection had been done before the sale I would think that the suspension and drive train to be the first to be checked. I was told prior to purchase that this vehicle had been inspect and the visual inspection of this vehicle that I did, this car was in excellent condition. They did show me a document of the inspection and the minor repairs done, and that this vehicle came from the Seattle area. But somehow that document was never given to me. One thing that bothers me the most is that I was only traveling 5 – 10 MPH. Mostly sitting at a stop light, but what if I was on I-5 at highway speed. This whole thing could have been a lot worse. The cost of the repairs was not that much, but Hertz needs to step up to the plate and take responsibility.

Won't buy from this dealer

Don't let the sales person tell you they can't negotiate prices. It is up to the store manager. There were scratches all over the car and I asked them to lower the price. Sales guy said I should buy a new car. What I should do is refuse to do business with companies that provide crappy customer service... BTW... Beaverton location lowered the price for me with no issues.

Quick, professional, no pressure sales.

Our salesman "Kiwi", was the best. He was honest, friendly, and made sure to get us the best deal. He even called us a week later to make sure we were satisfied. First class service.

Great Experience!

I had been car searching for five weeks due to my auto dying beyond expensive repair. I had been fortunate to happen upon Kyle Moderhak at Hertz, Portland. He was exceptional, and a wonderful breath of fresh air. If it were not for his knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous manner I would not have purchased from Hertz. Kyle brought me directly to the auto which fit the parameters I had presented to him. He did not try to up-sell another auto, as others had. He remained calm, and did not hover, ingratiating himself. The paperwork was swift and pain-free. Due to Kyle Moderhak, I had the best customer service experience by far, over 10 other dealerships. Thank you Kyle! Jeannie

Terry in Washington

They were $4000 less than the lowest competitor on the same type of car. It was fast, friendly and easy. We live across the bridge in Washington and it's about 20 minutes to get there and well worth the drive. I'm telling everyone to go there and save:)

Satisfied Buyer June 22,2014

I don't buy cars very often & am somewhat intimidated by the expected high pressure sales process. Not the case here. I had done my homework & was ready to buy a specific car when I arrived. The price was right, the terms agreeable, the location conveniently close to home, the people friendly & informative. Maureen,Todd & the nice fellow from New Zealand made this a painless experience & took care of my needs almost before I knew what they were. These folks are an efficient & personable team. Not once did I feel rushed or "handled". They were accommodating to my requests & took care of the paperwork swiftly. I'd definitely consider buying from these guys again.

Always check the advertised info!

They advertised three 2012 Prius 3 models at attractive prices. The 2012 Prius 3 always includes Nav/backup camera... it's the primary difference between the 3 and the Prius2. None of these three cars had the feature, which means they were all the Prius 2 model. The window sticker and the website were both in error.
