How could a Putnam mechanic certify a vehicle is ready to be picked up after a no-cost 26 point safety check had been completed, with a battery light lit on the dashboard? Why didn't the mechanic automatically test the alternator output, which should have been done, because of the battery failure? And, the service manager should have indicated that driving a vehicle with a possible failed alternator presents a huge safety risk. If I had suddenly lost power a few minutes earlier I would have been in the fast lane of Highway 101. The service department's lack of thoroughness put my safety in jeopardy. There was a lack of due diligence with the car repair and must question the training of those working for the service department.

You are very careless about your work. And I regard your actions as disrespectful to customers. I don't want to hear from you anymore and I will never contact you again.

Terrible purchase experience of our lease
We've leased two RX450h F-Sports from Putnam, and had great experience with the lease experience. We decided to purchase the second RX450h at the end of our lease. Our sales associate, Taz, promised that the one wheel curb rash would be repaired and small chips on the front bumper be touched up as part of the CPO certification that we paid for. He also kept asking for a 5 star review whe Lexus sent us an email to review the Dealership. My wife took delivery of the vehicle and went away for the weekend. Upon her return home I closely inspected the car, and saw that the wheel still has the minor curb rash and the chips were still on the front bumper. I called Taz immediately and he said he would make an appointment for us. That never happened, and he quit answering my calls and texts. I called the dealership, and he answered one time, and said he would call me back in two minutes. That never happened as well. I called the dealership again and asked to speak with Taz's manager. I was now speaking with David, who said that he was Taz's manager. David basically told me that Taz should have never promised anything and that he would see what he could do for us and call me back. It's been a week, and I never received a call back. We are totally disappointed in this experience and will never go back or recommend this place again. Taz and David could have made things right, but they chose to lose a returning customer instead. Take your business elsewhere, don't purchase or lease from Putnam Lexus! If they or Lexus decides to contact us, I will up date this review.

Great Customer Service. The Salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't feel pressured at all. Even the GM, Ed, and the GSM Bob, came out to Greet me and offer assistance during my purchase. They treated me like Royalty. Garbage service
Car was returned to me with visible body damage on the undersides of my car which weren't disclosed to me at the time of pick-up. None of the service advisors ever answer their phones nor do they return your calls. You have to constantly call into the service line to get someone to help you. It's always been like this, for years. Is this how you work in customer service? No customer should have to deal with this level of subpar service.

Wrong Plates
Dealer provided wrong plates at the time of car sale. 10th of phone call did not help to locate correct plate per my VIN. They play ?fool? or really they did not understand that simple error was done by someone at dealership when they drop wrong plates in to my trunk. I would drop this review if they simply say: Please, come to DMV and get a new license plate; but they did not. So, be ready to spend a day at DMV and be ready that other driver gets your plate which is incorrect for him/her. Thus, expect toll ticket, speeding ticket, or other crime action related to your, but not given to you license plates. Cameras see plate number to m ail tickets. I return wrongly given to me plates to DMV and never drove with them.
