2020 Equinox service

The service took less time than quoted but still was a significant wait. The facility is clean and well furnished. The staff were very courteous and professional.

Liars and thieves.

There was an issue with the Suburban I had purchased. This problem was there when the vehicle was purchased and I had to fight with them to fix it. On top of that it was listed with features it did not have and I was told by the sales person that it had the features. Go somewhere else they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get the sale. They are liars and swindlers here I will never give any Randy Marion dealership another dime.

I had a tire rotation, check engine light, and an oil change. The check engine light required a part that the dealer didn?t have and indicated there were none available. The truck would go into ?limp mode? if the part fails and the service rep recommended to not drive it any great distance. So, I have a 2013 truck with a failing part, no available replacement, and can?t rely on it in the current condition The tire rotation, when I got home I checked the pressure from my vehicle info. There was about a 10 psi difference between my 2 front tires and about a 10 psi difference between my back tires. This leads me to wonder if they even rotated the tires at all I called the service rep. and he said if I came back in, he would correct the issue. I live 18 miles away and told him I was going to correct it myself. With these issues, I can only hope they actually did the oil change. One last thing, their shuttle service will not take me home. I guess 18 miles is too far.

Chevy Colorado transmission shakedown

Needed a transmission flush and fill due to an known issue with Chevy Colorado transmissions. Service Bulletin No.: 18-NA-355 Date: August, 2019. My vehicle has always been sericed by Randy Marion and no one has ever mentioned this issue. Just slightly out of warrenty was when I found out about it. The total cost for the flush and fill was $1249 most of which was labor at $780 ! 5 1/2 hours of labor for a job that didnt take more then 3 hours. My truck had a 9am appointment and I was called to pick it up around 1 pm ! Very dissapointed in the way this was handled. This shoud be a recall.

Dealer Markups/Market Adjustment

I was looking at a 2023 Bolt EUV. After I got the breakdown of pricing this dealership wanted an over $4000 "market adjustment." I can order an EV from Tesla and don't have to deal with any of these games/dealer add-ons. I hope Chevrolet works this out as currently, their MSRP means nothing.
