Very Poor Experience (1 contact)

I can't speak for the entire branch, this is my experience with one customer rep. Reached out for information on a vehicle I was interested in. Was provided minimal and vague feedback, had to reach out multiple times for unanswered questions, car had damage that was unreported on the listing and not provided in the car history report. No information provided when asked about the damages, was continually told to check the not helpful report. Car is being sold at a premium with damages, dealer is fixing the issues. Pictures taken don't accurately show the extent of the damages, some even seem blurred, or missing side shots. Parts are on backorder and was told the vehicle is unable to drive even though the damages are cosmetic. Unwilling to negotiate pricing.

I brought the car in for a factory emission code covered

I brought the car in for a factory emission code covered by the warranty and the tech was extremely rude telling me that there are more problems !! When I tried to ask and get clarification she said I will not talk to you . Her skills are none existent, rude , and pure and simple just want you to pay for repairs that VW is court obligated to fix. While I was there I heard a conversation between a technician and a mechanic “ I will feed the costumer anything you want”!! They are dishonest and will never deal with them ever again. Car is only dealership maintained !!!

Incredibly friendly and responsive. Lori in sales was available 24-7 and was so helpful. She sent pictures, info on car very quickly and is also very personable! Experience was wonderful. No hard sales tactics. Also great experience with sales manager and finance manager. I highly recommend them.

Capitol provides a reasonable no nonsense upfront pricing...

Capitol provides a reasonable no nonsense upfront pricing for vehicles, and their finance department was not pushy in after sales products. Their lot management needs some work. Our vehicle has some water spot issues that we hope will make right. However, the purpose of this review is to review Lori Campbell( our sales rep). She was outstanding! I highly recommend you ask for her if you go here. She is one of their top sales people for a good reason. She loves cars and wants to build a relationship with her clients. She is very efficient and helped navigate us through the process. She found rebates for us that we were unaware of, and continues to make sure we are happy with our purchase even after the sale. So if you are going to buy a car from this dealership, then do yourself a favor and ask for Lori.

They were excellent and I would have given them a 5 star,...

They were excellent and I would have given them a 5 star, except it way to long to pay for the car and get out. I bought a used ca, no price haggling, and for cash. after waiting for almost an hour for the "finance person", I finally got really upset, and the manager came out and too my check. Why that could not have been done right away, I don't know. Other than that they were great.

Courteous and Professional

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience purchasing a used 2009 Porsche Boxster that was in Near Mint/Mint condition from Capitol Volkswagen (DGDG) in San Jose. I had been searching the entire country, literally, for a nice 2009-2012 Boxster (i.e. 987.2, manual), luckily I found a great one at a reputable dealership that was not too far away. Everyone at Capitol Volkswagen that I dealt with made the purchasing experience a good one. In particular, Lori Campbell was very courteous and helpful throughout the purchase and in coordinating the transaction over the internet and phone, and to reserve the car for me, which was important because I live 450 miles away in San Diego. Arthur Fang was also helpful and easy to work with in setting up the financing, while Byron Bautista was great during the actual sit-down and signing of all the 'papers' (it's almost all done on an iPad nowadays). Even the General Manager, Peter Scibetta, chatted with me for a bit which was appreciated. I flew up in the morning, and loved driving my new 'baby' back home. Thank you Capitol Volkswagen!

Horrible Service

This dealership tried to sell me a car with many defects then I refunded the car. 1 month later, no car, no money. Stay Away!

Worst CW dealership ever (higher offer ever & worst manager)

Simply don’t go there and west your time It took me 4 hours just trying to get the offer was already online They play around and never be clear and you will get the highest price ever

DOES NOT HONOR STICKER PRICE

We came in to look at a car we saw online. When we arrived on the lot the car's sticker price was lower than the online price. When we agreed to buy the vehicle we were told the sticker price was an error and we would have to pay the higher price we saw online. BS!! We walked out. BUYER BEWARE.
