Would not recommend this dealer especially if you’re

Would not recommend this dealer especially if you’re looking into financing a vehicle here. Saw a car I liked on their website Saturday night. Put in an inquiry at that time and didn’t hear a response Monday morning which is understandable as they might be busy but was very interested nonetheless so I showed up. Upon arrival there was a sign on the door stating “will be back soon” which isn’t a big deal, things come up. Waited about 10-15 minutes and when the guy came back I asked to check out the car. He was very polite when I asked to check out the car, handed me the keys while he tended to other things. He never came back and asked me if I had any questions or anything just sat inside the building. It was like he had no interest in selling the car. Never reached back out after the inquiry and credit app and didn’t come up to me while I was checking out the car. After I checked out the car and everything, I went inside to see if I could test drive the car and this is where everything really went downhill. He immediately asked me if I was financing or purchasing the car outright. How will I know if I’m even interested without driving the car?? Either he runs your credit (and therefore lowering your score with a hard pull) or I wasn’t allowed to test drive the vehicle. When I said financing, he was even less interested in the sale. Asked me how much I was putting down and I said about 30% of the price. He said that the bank won’t even look at an application without 50% down on this specific vehicle due to their “unreliability” which can’t even remotely be true because I checked out the same/similar car at at least 5 other dealerships and they didn’t require any percentage down and let me test drive their vehicles by only providing my license. On top of the fact that he wanted 50% down or no test drive but I had two people with me that had a 700+ score with me that were willing to co-sign for me and he couldn’t be bothered to even ask. Said he wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the price BEFORE I even got to test drive the car. How am I supposed to be okay with a price without even seeing how the vehicle drove? Said it wasn’t worth running an application without 50% down and I went about my day. I’m a younger guy and would consider myself the typical driver of this vehicle. I don’t throw this term around loosely, but definitely felt like I was being profiled even though I was a serious buyer and filled out a credit application either way. I’d only recommended this dealer if you are trying to sell yourself on a car and being profiled because they had no interest in selling the car themselves. Went to another dealer (Dash Auto, 10/10 would recommend) 5 minutes down the street and walked out with a newer model and lower mileage with the same amount down the same day.

A Total Nightmare!

Worst experience of my life! Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership!! This is part of the listing for the car I purchased from Nick at Premier Auto Sales in Belleville NJ: 2013 Nissan Juke Price: $6,900 Mileage: 143,989 mi Location: Belleville, NJ Seller: Premier Automotive Group. I paid in full cash & had it shipped to Massachusetts, I purchased it with a carfax report of "No Damage" pictures in the advertisement showed no damage as they were taken of the other side of the vehicle, upon arrival I noticed several dents, tons of scatches, the fuel door doesn't open, a huge hole in the bumper, remote doesn't work... It's not even a 2013! After receiving the title weeks later it stated that it is actually a 2012! The interior was filthy, I was devastated and haven't been able to stop crying, don't fall for their false advertising and lies like I did! 😥

Great staff, friendly and accomodating. A+ rating

I purchased a Mustang from Premier last April and couldn't pick it up until May. Tiago was friendly and very accommodating to my schedule. When I flew in and arrived at the lot, the car wasn't ready to his (Tiago's) satisfaction (wasn't washed) and he wanted to safety double check it before I drove to Buffalo. He discovered an error condition, spoke to his manager and made arrangements to correct the issue. The manager wanted to check the car for any other flaws and offered to pay for an overnight stay at a nearby motel that he (Tiago) located. The car was ready the next day, safety inspected and had a transporter plate ready for it. We completed the paperwork swiftly and efficiently and I drove off very satisfied with the car, knowing I wouldn't have any problems. I can't say enough about the whole buying experience. Premier's business attitude is a refreshing 180 from what most perceive of a Used Car Dealer. As far as I'm concerned, everyone is entitled to make a buck. Premier and Tiago proved to me that they put Customer Service before that buck. I wouldn't hesitate buying from them again. Thanks Tiago!

Found Rust covered under fresh Spray Paint...

Sorry Emilio for having to post of my experience with your dealership after flying out today from California to buy your car. Disappointed, I'm at the airport now waiting to fly back home. I've never posted any kind of review before, but this (it seems) needs to be said. This began Monday morning when I excitedly called from CA about your black 2006 Pontiac Vibe AWD with 64k miles. You sent me the carfax, which looked terrific. All I wanted to know next if any rust, and if so, how much? You said it had some, but not bad. I said I was most concerned about the underside especially the frame and wheel suspension arms. So you looked underneath saying it wasn't bad. But you'd take it to your mechanic anyway and send me pics of the underside. I thought wow, honest guy wants me to be comfortable like the terrific 62 google reviews! You sent me 8 undercarriage pics showing various amounts of surface rust, saying the worst being the bottom portion of a heat shield near the gas tank. But I noticed that the wheel suspension arms in the pics were really clean with no rust. And so I asked why? And was told because it had been undercoated. Well that explained to me why the arms were so clean, and only the muffler and heat shield were bad. But when I looked at the car upon arriving NJ the next day, I discovered that someone recently sprayed black paint over very rusted wheel suspension arms! The paint easily flaked off the arms just by tapping it! Small chunks of rust fell off the newly black shiny painted arms (paint was clean, no dirt on it). I don't know who painted the rust, and I'm not accusing you Emilio. I'm just an ordinary guy who doesn't understand East Coast rust and have never undercoated my car to protect it from rust. So what do I know? Well, as someone who doesn't work with cars, I spotted the rust under the black spray paint in less than 5 minutes. And unfortunately, I flew 6000 miles round trip. In hindsight, I didn't understand why you waived a $300 non-refundable deposit for me; that you'd be glad to just hold it for me without a deposit. But I insisted paying something to show good faith, and paid $200 before flying out to NJ. I want to thank Gabe for picking us up from the airport, nice young guy! And you were very gracious Emilio paying for a Lyft back to the airport after you saw me and my wife standing on the street in front of your car lot tonight when you were closing shop - thank you!

Great professional and friendly guys. Very reasonable car prices with minimal dealer doc fee. They are not like a typical car salesmen. I felt they were friends. I highly recommend them. Thank you Fernando and Emilio.

WONDERFUL CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE

If you are looking for wonderful human beings to deal with that are knowledgeable about cars, have excellent customer services skills, are neat, clean, organized and fair then Premier Automotive is your place to get a really great used car. Fernando, Brian and Manny are all excellent! They stand by their product, they will help and work with you and give you a great deal. All three are true to their word and trustworthy, they are dependable and reliable. We are very happy with their stellar service and would highly recommend them and plan to purchase all of our future used cars from them and are referring all of our friends and family to them. They will not let anything off of their lot unless it is in tip top shape and looking good. We bought a car for our daughter, so we were concerned about safety and reliability as well as a great price, Premier Automotive met all of these requirements and then some. We were pleasantly surprised to find them so clean, neat and organized. And even though all men work there, the bathroom is always clean, spotless, with the toilet seat down, fully stocked with bathroom tissue, hand soap, paper towels AND LOTION. AMAZING! It was a pleasurable experience purchasing our car from them.
