I drove 350 miles to Scandinavian Import Service Center to buy a 2009 Volvo V70 after heavily researching this model and after sending Alan Tetervin, the owner of SIS, many email inquiries about the history and condition of the particular V70 he had advertised. When I arrived, Alan and his wife Frances had the car perfectly detailed and ready to go and had all the paperwork in order. They are truly professional, informed automotive business people who know their products and know the kinds of experienced buyers who are likely to purchase their Saabs and Volvos. A very relaxed, informal, pleasant car-buying experience for a buyer who has purchased several Saabs and Volvos.

Great Experience
I Bought my 2008 Saab 9-3 Convertible from Scandinavian Imports and I couldn't be happier. I was looking for a very specific used car which was not easy to find. Scandinavian happened to have the right car, but the effort that they put in to making sure it was in perfect condition is what I'm most pleased about. I live 500 miles away but they made my trip worth while. Our communications by phone were very straight forward and absolutely no sales pressure at all. These people are not your typical Car Sales People. They are friendly, helpful, and very professional. The car had been professionally prepared. I was told about repairs that had been made so that the car was absolutely 100%. Everything fuctions as new. They even filled the gas tank Full. I came away feeling that they would do what ever was necessary to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my purchase, and I feel they did. I highly recommend Scandinavian Imports.

I sent an email and they didn't bother to respond. I finally called to discuss price. Their car is overpriced by a good bit with no explanation and they don't seem to care. I am looking elsewhere.

Worth a little extra
I recently bought a used Volvo XC 70 from them. Not the cheapest price I could have gotten, but they detailed the significant work they had done before making the car available for sale. Once I bought the car I found a few additional minor issues, which they fixed for free under their warranty. Definitely worth the extra money, which really wasn't that much anyway!
