Purchased a Range Rover Sport. The best possible experience in my entire car purchase life. Worked with one person (Sal) through the whole process. No pressure, clear presentation, professional, likeable respectful guy. I first came in for a test drive of two cars. After two weeks testing other makes I felt this brand offered a better value for the money. Brought my wife in to make the final decision and she agreed a great experience and loved the car. I want to add (Sal) took an hour in clearly explaining all the car functions before driving off. Steve/Tiffany

Absolutely terrible service at this dealership. If you don’t purchase your vehicle at PDX RR, you will be treated very poorly. Look at their reviews as so many people give them 1*. I own two RR and get 1* service every time. Word to the wise, if you want a Range Rover, drive to Seattle or Bellevue RR like I and many other Oregonians did. You will get amazing service.

Not a fan of this dealership and their service policies....

Not a fan of this dealership and their service policies. Only option for warranty work in Oregon. They don’t offer you a loaner unless you bought the vehicle there. GM does not pick up his line as I was advised by service team. Sounds like they know they have a monopoly. 1 month out for a check engine light. Not pleased to not have another option other than Seattle.


Windshield Calibration

I had my windshield replaced by a local glass company and I was told that I needed to have the windshield calibrated. I made the appointment with Land Rover Portland to have it done. When I returned to pick up the vehicle I was asked "Did you just have this windshield replaced? Because there is a small crack." My response was "That's what I said when I called to make the appointment. Do people have their windshields calibrated for any other reason?" I can not believe that they did not think to stop and call me or look at notes when they saw the crack. So now I paid for a calibration that was pointless because I will need to have it done a 2nd time after the repair/replacement. Fantastic! This is the only dealership within hundreds of miles so not sure how much this review matters. No one would give me the service manager's contact info so, this was all I could do. I will be sure to start looking to see who else can service Range Rovers. *The reason for two stars, is because the sales department is excellent!

Service Department Is a Complete Joke

If you buy a Jag or Land Rover you better hope it never has any issues because having them repair something as simple as a blown speaker (because Land Rover sound systems are complete garbage don’t believe me, do your own research) is like pulling teeth. I’ve taken my Range Rover in FOUR times now to have the speakers replaced only to get the run around that they fixed them only to find that the service center had turned the bass all the way down in order to duck out having to honor the warranty. They refuse to acknowledge the issue and keep wanting to schedule continuous appointments weeks out. The service manager is never available. I even drove to the dealership to talk to him in person only to be told he was on a call when I could clearly see into his office that he wasn’t. This issue has been going on for months, they keeps my vehicle for days at a time with no loaner and do nothing to fix the issue. Never again in my life will I buy another Land Rover or Jag because once the deal is done, there is no service center to rely on.



Dealing with this service department is no longer worth my time, energy and patience. It is unfortunate they do not care to address customer issues and then are rude when you simply attempt to resolve. Two weeks for a factory air bag recall, two thousand in “additional repairs”, charged more than the quote approved and no updates except when I reached out. Then comes the fixed response “they are busy” even though you have a long scheduled appointment. I dared to fill out a survey and received an unpleasant call from the service agent complaining about my review-which I pointed out did not disparage his efforts- and he said on a Friday he would follow up on my concerns the following week. That was five months ago.
