Purchased a service contract for 6 oil changes and didn't

Purchased a service contract for 6 oil changes and didn't drive the vehicle near as many miles as estimated after purchase. Had 2 oil changes left and they honored 1 of them. This oil change was done 1200 miles early at that. I asked if I could just get the oil and filter and I would do the last one myself. They refused, and said that they did me a favor by doing the one already. I'm sorry but these oil changes were pre paid for up front! They were never a gift from you ever. I paid for them!! Bo tells me they don't have anything to do with the contracts. Funny thing is the dealership gets paid for them, but they have nothing to do with them? I will never do business with Auto Ranch again. I knew there was a reason why I went to Smith Auto in Weiser, to have all my warranty work done. They understand customer service. Spend $65,000 with Auto Ranch and this is the best they can do. We'll see if screwing someone out of $120 or so is worth it. This certainly isn't my last vehicle, but it xxxx sure is from you!!

We truly understand your frustration regarding the maintenance contract you purchased in 2021, which included 6 oil changes over 3-years. While the contract officially expired on 10/13/2024, we went above and beyond to accommodate you by completing one of the services six months past the expiration - something we were able to do through special exceptions in an effort to support you. Unfortunately, the remaining unused service is no longer eligible for redemption. We appreciate your understanding and are always here if you have any further questions or concerns. Sincerely, Beau Bouton/Service Manager

Best car buying experience I've ever had.

Best car buying experience I've ever had. Juan was so easy to work with and never pushed what so ever. He knew every feature of the car and wanted to make sure we were happy start to finish. Matt in finance made literal magic happen. I got a brand new car without having a 800 credit score with a reasonable interest rate and ZERO down. I wish every car purchase went this smoothly. It literally took an hour at most and we were on the road. Buying your car from Auto Ranch is worth the drive. It really really is.

repair of newly bought vehicle

I have purchase several vehicle's from the ranch in the past several years and their service has been outstanding but do to the lack of techs and perhaps room this is the first time in years of service that they can't repair one of their cars I bought recently that had a nonworking item that couldn't be repaired quickly , not really a major item just a service item that has always worked on all other vehicles used or new in the recent past purchased from them. Great personal and helpful but the employees are hindered by being under staffed ect... I do not like my newly purchased vehicle sitting at the dealership for who knows how long to fix a problem that is not a major item but just a service item.

Beware of Low-Mileage Used-Vehicles from OAR.

We purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe with approx. 43,000 miles from Ontario Auto Ranch. Within 30 hours of purchasing the one-owner vehicle (vetted through the dealership shop) and paying full value for the vehicle, the car would not start. We contacted the salesman immediately believing the error could possibly be related to the anti-theft programming. The salesman, Craig Kendall, gave us some things to try, but the vehicle would not start until the next morning. We considered this instance a "fluke," but we have now owned the vehicle for 3 months and the car has randomly "not started" countless times, often stranding our family while traveling. As a mother of two young daughters and living in a rural area, I thought I had invested in a reliable vehicle from a reliable dealership. I spent more money than I originally intended to on a safe, clean car-fax, low-mileage vehicle (which was a rare market find). For the past 3 months, we have communicated with Craig about the vehicle's issues. Craig was responsive and did his best to help. You can note we did not purchase the warranty with the vehicle. The warranty was priced around $3,000.00 and since we were already over-budget and having poor experiences with prior warranties, we declined. We also expected a low-mileage vehicle marketed by what we thought was a reputable dealership to not have any major issues. At our own cost, we installed a new ignition switch (which worked well for a short time) and replaced the battery. We currently have the vehicle at our local Chevrolet dealership (65 miles away) and have no indication of the actual issue, if the issue is fixable, and how much the service will cost us. Prior to making this appointment, we asked Ontario Auto Ranch to help us explore solutions. A manager (who failed to call us back multiple times) finally explained Ontario Auto Ranch would do nothing to help us out. Our purchase was well-researched and a very important decision for our family. This car was marketed and sold as a barely-used vehicle and we did not expect mechanical/electrical issues, especially those that manifested 30 hours after purchase. This is not a coincidence. We could have purchased the extended warranty, but we also expected Ontario Auto Ranch to stand behind the vehicles they market and sell. We have been patient and genuine through the frustrating situation, but we are very disappointed, over-budget, and will not use Ontario Auto Ranch in the future.

Buyer Beware!

I get buying a used vehicle is "buyer beware." When you pay over $30000 for a vehicle, you at least expect it to last 30 days. Bought a 2015 Dodge PU and the tranny went out after 27 days. Not at all happy! Supposedly the mechanic checked everything out and it was "mechanically sound." I guess the transmission is not part of the mechanics?

Terrible customer service, They truly do not care.

I brought my vehicle to the Auto Ranch for repairs and regret that decision completely. My vehicle has many more issues now than when it was brought in. The technicians are supposedly educated and certified but couldn't give me answers. The management acted so cowardly and unprofessional. For being a small town, locally ran company who values themselves on customer service, respect and mom and pop shop morals, I am truly saddened and feel completely disrespected.

False Advertising

I contacted them regarding a new truck listed on Cars.com for a great price. They are showing a "dealer discount" of $12,500. I called them because I would buy the truck for the listed price and the salesman took all of my personal information, telling me he would get back to me with a personal quote. It seemed odd because I was ok with the original price. When he came back the price had risen $7,000 from the list price. I asked what happened to the original price and he said it was"an error," and to read the disclaimer on the website. It was a total bait and switch because they have two trucks listed on the website with the same "$12,500 dealer discount," and they have manually listed them on Cars.com for the same. I don't know how or why this is legal, but it's false advertising. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me on Cars.com and it is very disingenuous. I could never buy a vehicle from Ontario Auto Ranch after this experience and would warn others of their misleading practices.

Made it easy to get the truck I was looking for!

Started in Boise, looking for a used truck. All the way to Ontario I looked at a lot of nice trucks , the selection at the Auto Ranch was great! The NEW Ram truck I found was exactly what I wanted and they did their best to make it happen. It pays to shop at home!
