    This is just for the finance department. I told the finance manager I worked With that I would finance with Toyota because of the $500 rebate they offered... instead of the loan I secured with my bank previously. The rebate was key to this decision and He acknowledged this and yet when He introduced new terms, he took it upon himself to NOT tell me I wasn’t eligible for the rebate under the new terms, which I took based on what he did tell me. He chalked it up to miscommunication. It is not a miscommunication when you flat out don’t disclose something I told him was the basis of this one decision. If you want to do business with people who telL you one thing and then only disclose changes that benefit them, then Toyota of Lake City is for you. I will never be doing any type of business with them again and am definitely telling everybody I can.

    —This is an updated review since my last post. — I received a personalized call Fromm Shay the finance manager and he was very nice and helpful with my... situation. He took care of me and made sure I was reimbursed for the time I did not have the car. I also worked with Karen from the office who was very sweet and very understanding of the situation. She was also very informative and helpful in my situation. I was very upset about how things turned out but Toyota of Lake City definitely made me feel 100% better after working with them. I never had any issues in the past, service was always great and continues to be so. I am very thankful for everything Shay, Angel and Karen have done for me in this process.

    I had been searching for quite a while for a used Camry. I had found a lot but my wife was very particular about the color combination, not easy when looking... for a used car. After weeks of searching I found the perfect one at Toyota of Lake City. I had called in and spoke to (...) wish I could remember his name! He was nice and helpful. When my wife and I had time to come in it was his day off so he arranged for another sale rep, Undui to help us. Undui was helpful and friendly and made the process go smooth. I was worried that they wouldn't honor the price we agreed upon since the guy we talked to wasn't there but there was no problems.

    I originally started discussing a new Tacoma with Tae Lee via email. He was a breeze to deal with and was quick to respond. When I showed up to test drive... the truck I was treated with respect and taken care of right away. I ended up driving it home that day! They gave me a GREAT deal (truly) on the Tacoma and I couldn’t be more satisfied. 5 stars for sure!!

    1st off things to keep in mind. I live 4 hours away from this dealership. I've been shopping around for a very particular car for over couple months,... all along Oregon and Washington. I wasn't in a hurry to buy a car. I had contacted Lake City early in my research and searching phase. Zach G. was one to get back to me. I basically said I was interested in your car. Please let me know when you can meet me at my price offer which was about $900 below their asking price. After weeks of on and off emailing and texting with Zach, we talked alot about the car's details. He was great in sending me detailed car's inspection paper work. When my other car options faded away, I put my focus on Zach's car in Lake City. He was awesome in his responsiveness with texts and emails. He even replied back to me after hours. This made it very easy for me to pursue this car that was 4 hours away from me. Negotiating through emails was a lot less stressful for me. I was able to research and compare their counter offer without the pressure of being at the dealership, regardless how close/far the dealership was. After tentatively agreeing on the price, I even asked them about some of Lake City's horrific reviews and they assured me I was not going to get tricked. **When we got to Lake City, I saw my car, and met with Zach. We inspected the car and drove it with out issues. As advised. The next best part was next when we had already agreed on the price that we exchanged during emails and text. No hassle in trying to work on the price. That was awesome. What took the longest was getting the paper work and signing it. I did get an unpleasant surprise when Zach informed me that they only one key for the car.This was after they said they had two keys. None the less they didnt fight me on that and they put in writing that, after I buy the key where I lived, and emailed them the receipt, that they would pay me back. 2 weeks later, I got the check and title in the mail. My biggest issue comes after the sale. I was not aware of the title process. I was under the impression that I would have title in hand after buying the car. It came to a shock to me when I was told they would mail the title to me. Keep in mind I lived 4 hrs away. None the less 2 weeks later I got my title. ##I only wish I was better informed on the title process and when it was mailed and to get a tracking number. Little things that made me feel I was taken care of after the purchase. Zach wasn't as responsive as he was before the sale. I get it, he's made his money already, why put more time in my messages. This includes the check for the extra key I had made. I only wish I had information on the delivery of the check. Overall my experience with Lake City was good/decent. I only wish they were closer so I can give them opportunity to service my car when the time comes. I would recommend Zach to anyone trying to buy a car from Lake City, given if he does a better job replying after the sale and to use emails and text, that way you can always refer to them later on. I only say to take your time on the research and to know about the title process.

    I recently worked with Toyota of Lake City to lease a new Camry. This is the third car I have leased from them. I worked with Elena to pick out the right... car, test drive it, and negotiate a reasonable price. The experience was quick and as painless as getting a new car can be. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but I particularly thank Elena for helping me through the process. I will come back in a few years for my next Toyota.

    I bought a Highlander and part of the purchase was getting a tow hitch installed for free. I dropped my rig off with Gabe Acevedo on my lunch break. He... got it in done before I was off work and called me when it was done. No surprises when I picked it up, everything was easy. Definitely will give Gabe a shot when I'm due for an oil change.

    Earlier this week I dropped in to another Toyota dealership to check out a Tacoma. Long story short I ended up with what I’m guessing was a new salesman;... couldn’t answer any questions about the truck or even let me know if they had what I was looking for. I ended up leaving; completely a wasted trip. Instead of dealing with that crap again I decided to look online. Undui Redner the Internet Manager reached out. They had the exact truck I was looking for and made it quick and easy. I have to say a job well done to Undui for the follow-up, CJ the manager, and Diego in finance. No bull it was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle (and I've bought a few over the years), the guys were fun, honest and I will buy from them again if I get another Toyota.

    I called in to schedule an appointment for an oil change and I was pleasantly surprised to find out they have late night hours, open until 9PM some days!... I came in and saw Gabriel, he checked me in and I waited in the customer lounge. Really large TV, pretty comfortable and lots of seating, only bummer was the cafe was closed and it was around dinner time so I was starving. A salesman recommended a Vietnamese restaurant just across the street. When I returned the car was ready to go. Only bummer is they don't wash it but it's because they are going "green". They gave me a coupon to use at a Brown Bear car wash. Apparently they recycle the water there so I guess it's a good reason not to wash it. Also, they said I can use it whenever so I am going to save it for when the car is extra filthy.
