The service center at Toyota of Lake City; (13355 Lake
The service center at Toyota of Lake City; (13355 Lake City Way NE, Seattle WA) dealership is an absolute nightmare. My partner purchased a 2020 Rav 4 hybrid with an extended warranty, purchased through the dealership she purchased the car. About 6 weeks ago, we took the vehicle in for a check engine light that had come on indicating a high temperature. We have been given a complete runaround through their service department. The work needing to be done just continued to pile up. All the while we were being reassured that the warranty company was in the loop as to what work was being done. We were told repeatedly that while the warranty may not cover everything, it would cover most of the work. According to the service center, they needed to send the short block to a machine shop. We asked the manager of the service center if we could have a write up/estimate of all work completed and future work needing to be completed and he told us that wasn’t something they could or would do. We have since asked again and should be receiving a write up. Now we are being told that the warranty company is refusing to cover ANY of the cost. They stated that Lake City Toyota did not follow their procedures for this issue and, essentially, did more than necessary. We are now stuck with a growing bill that has reached $10,000 and the car isn’t even fixed. If this experience is indicative of how this dealership as a whole operates (and their current recent Google reviews absolutely confirms this) then I would avoid this dealership at all costs. I would avoid Toyota corporation as a whole. It is worth noting that there is an active recall out for this exact issue, make model and year, yet we are being told that it doesn’t apply here.

Each of the 3 people I worked with were fantastic!
Each of the 3 people I worked with were fantastic! My sales person, Tyra Haggerty, was kind, fun and was able to answer every question I had about the car. The senior sales person, Eric, was beyond helpful, also very kind and understood my potential concerns with the car. He researched while Tyra and I were on the test drive. Alex Lake, the financial person I met with was even kind, sensitive to my wants. Out of 3 dealerships I dealt with while car shopping, this was the only one that gave me a fun and positive experience.

I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle at Toyota of Lake City. George Chaker was exceptionally helpful and informative throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of my questions, provided clear and thorough explanations, and ensured I felt confident with my purchase. His professionalism and attention to detail made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Additionally, the Accounting team was very accommodating and efficient in handling the paperwork and financing. They walked me through the process step by step and were available to clarify any concerns I had along the way. Overall, Toyota of Lake City provided excellent customer service, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

We bought a Hybrid Highlander and were lucky to deal with Ibrahim. From start to finish he was amazing! He worked hard to find us the vehicle we wanted and kept us informed of manufacturing timeframe and process. The car arrived just days after my birthday and Ibrahim recognized it in a very thoughtful way - totally above and beyond! He was very knowledgeable about the tech in the car and patiently taught us everything we need to know. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and transparent; as was our entire experience. Alex Lake did a great job getting us in and out with the transaction itself. He too, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Lake City Toyota! Ask for Ibrahim!

always helpful. Been dealing with them for 17 years. Have always gotten great service. A non-pressure dealership. Greg (gold team service manager) has always provided good advice. Now that I bought a new car from them, I get to keep Greg as my service manager. I'm happy!

Fantastic service all around!
Fantastic service all around! As a first timer for this location, Mike Kraynak from the service department was appointed to handle my vehicle's issues and he provided constant communications of the vehicle's status. He was polite and clear throughout the time. Most of all, he demonstrated with patience and knowledge of the addressed issues. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the time and effort that Mike and his tech crew were able to greatly assist. I would most definitely return to this location for future issues after this visit.

Best dealer and hardest workers of all time. I just moved back to the United States from Japan and, while in Japan, worked a deal on a 2023 Tacoma. First off dispite time difference Abel and Alex did everything to accommodate the time difference dispite a 16 hour time difference. Texts and calls never went unanswered. I had a hard timeline and a short window in Seattle, and they beyond delivered. literally. Shipment company didn't have the vehicle arriving until several days after my arrival, and Abel and Alex went to work and got me the truck on the day I needed it, brand-new and off the truck. I spent less than an hour in the dealer and did all my paperwork through email, and it was so easy to complete and follow. When it is time for me to buy again despite being in Oklahoma, or wherever I end up due to military PCS, I will be seeking these two out. Praises will never do the amount of work they did justice, but I hope this solidifys someone decision with going with them. I promise you, no one will work as hard for you as this dealer ship and these gentleman.

Unbelievable
Toyota of Lake City is an abysmal excuse for a repair shop. I took my Prius in for some major work and, when I picked it up, a piece on the bottom was duct taped in place. When the duct tape inevitably failed a few days later, I returned the car. They kept me waiting for two and a half hours--after telling me it would take 30 minutes--only to come and tell me that they had ordered the wrong part and that my car was now held together by zip ties. Again, I returned it to Toyota. The car is fixed now, but they are now refusing to release it to me because they have not received the check from my insurance for the initial work they did. (Bear in mind, they did release it to me before; I had it for several days before these additional problems cropped up.) Now I am stuck paying an arm and a leg for a rental car I cannot afford because of (1) an issue between Toyota and my insurance that is not my fault and (2) because of Toyota's initial shoddy repair job. Also, they are now trying to claim that after they repaired my car "properly," I went and duct-taped it together myself.

I went to Toyota of Lake City yesterday to buy a Supra and was amazed by Ibrahim Ahmad's knowledge and attention to detail with each step of the process. After having an experience far below par at other local Toyota dealerships, Ibrahim had mended and eased any frustrations or anxiety that I had previously going in to buy a car for the first time in my life, an experience I never even thought to have in the first place.
