DO NOT BUY HERE I originally gave Dinsmore Auto Group a positive review because the manager, David Leger, personally assured me I was in good hands. He acknowledged that the salesperson was extremely unknowledgeable about the Mazda I purchased, and he promised to help me get the support I needed to understand the car. Based on that promise, I bought the car and held up my end and wrote a good review. Unfortunately, that support never came -- and worse, I've since learned that I was completely misled about financing options and the condition of the vehicle itself. I purchased a used Mazda CX-50 with an 800+ credit score and was told the best interest rate they could offer was 5.98%. I expressed I needed that lower, but was told there were "no other options." Just 13 days later I discover they are now advertising 0% APR on all vehicles -- an offer that was never disclosed to me. Had I known, I absolutely would have waited. That deception alone is costing me nearly $2,000 in unnecessary interest. On top of that: * The cruise control doesn't work -- a basic feature that should have been caught if they'd truly done the "120-point inspection" they claimed. * The salesperson couldn't answer even basic questions about the vehicle's features, and gave me incorrect information about safety systems. * The GM couldn't answer any questions about the car. I asked for a list of what was included in the car and the salesman was incredulous. I finally got a copy of the information from the GM on the way out. * I was told that since neither the salesman or GM could tell me ANYTHING about my car they would set me up with a follow-up with Mazda -- which I never received. I emailed David Leger directly with a professional, detailed explanation of all of this, asking for a resolution. I have not received any reply or even acknowledgment. This is exactly the kind of dishonest, dismissive behavior that gives used car dealerships a bad name. I regret trusting them. If you're considering buying from Dinsmore, be extremely careful -- and do not take their word at face value. They lie, don't know (or won't share) anything about the car you are buying. If my cruise control (A VERY BASIC TOOL ON ALL CARS) doesn't work what else doesn't work? What's the point in telling me I am fine & not to worry about 120 point safety inspection if you won't share any of the findings? My car has 2 accident sites, they never disclosed that, they never disclosed anything, never answered any questions, and lied about financing. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I did EVERYTHING I could to not get victimized and still did.
