I don't usually take time to leave reviews (good or bad) but I am absolutely appalled that I trusted the service department to give me a fair and accurate... diagnosis on my Jeep. I was quoted $150 for an hour of diagnostic work. They gave me different stories about what exactly the technician did to determine the recommendation. After questioning the validity of the work, they said they wouldn't charge me for a full hour. They offered me $20 off but also added an undisclosed and unauthorized $20 shop supply fee and still charged me $150 tax. I went against my better judgement thinking they could offer a more thorough diagnosis, but they weren't able to tell me anything I didn't already know. I called them out and still got taken advantage of. Go at your own risk!
Took my car in for an air bag recall- when I left the airbag sensor was on! When asked about it they said different airbag! Eventually they called and... I had to bring my car back- under the impression they fix the problem, nope they charged me-
Great dealership, was very impressed with the owner on down to the youg people who clean the vehiles. My salesman did a great job of meeting the needs... that we wanted in a vehicle. WE even bought 2 vehicles from Rainier Dodge, a Dart and a Journey.
We have been trying to make a deal with Joe, the salesman for a week now and just gives us a run around... first off- very unprofessional with my husband... and questioned his intelligence on SUVs( going to a Ram 1500 sport to a SUV) , last Monday wanted to make a deal so we agreed and then just giving us the run around if we’re approved or not. Doesn’t care to reach out to me, I HAVE to follow up with him just to get an answer and it’s been Monday morning since we’ve been trying to make a deal !! Still no answer and we will take our business and even our service for my truck (if I end up keeping it ) somewhere else! Thanks for nothing
It's hard to find an honest car dealer in the puget sound area. When you find one like the professional staff at Rainer Dodge you need to stick with them... like I have for the past 20 years. Over all they will save you MONEY, and you vehicle will run better and last longer over time. They sell cars that won't quite running. I only put on about 100,000 miles a year. For the most part all I have to do is get an oil change from the fast and friendly guys and gals in the service department. If I need something I have repaired and if they say that I don't then I am back on the road. Safely. So I would like to THANK all of the Great folks over there. Keep up the good work.
Their finance department screwed up my paperwork and I was left holding a nearly $1000 balance. They transposed numbers on the payoff amount and underpaid... the bank. Three weeks later I get a bill for $1000 in the mail. They did nothing to correct their mistake. Beware, triple check all of the numbers on your contract because of they screw up YOU will have to pay for their mistake.
So I purchased a truck from Rainer Dodge three years ago and had custom heated seats installed. Something, I am not sure what occurred with my husband... and his friend while buying an additional car. From the jest of it, upset expectations and false hope. Blah Blah Blah. My husband received a very nice letter from Gene Johnson apologizing for the incident. Done right? Not even close, after years of receiving letters and phone calls from Casey Johnson ( the wonderful Mr. Gene's son) my seats stopped working after a friend vacuumed my truck. o on Tuesday this week an appointment was made, the seats were after market and an interesting install according to the wonderful mechanic that installed them. Today, which is Friday I received a phone call from service stating they would not service my truck and to contact management. I called in and after a bit of run around and a second phone call I was able to speak with Casey Johnson. He informed me that he would not service my truck or do any business with my family. This was most confusing after receiving at least monthly requests for business and a letter requesting my husbands Challenger with the included offer of a steak dinner to do business again. It seemed to me that the events of the past were water under the bridge considering the numerous mailings and phone calls. I just wanted my seats fixed, I was in a bad accident and it is agony to drive without heat. Not to mention my husband, a combat wounded veteran of the armed forces recently had his spine fused and sustained a cord injury as a result. With numerous trips to the Seattle VA, heat for the trip is a must. Yeah I could drive his Challenger and I have, however my beast makes me feel safe and is far easier for him to get in. I thought about the mailings, phone calls and letter from Gene and decided to call back and speak with him. Gene that is, I had waited with my info on the books all week and did not understand why I was not contacted earlier in the week if there was in fact an issue. I spoke with the receptionist Josie and asked for Gene Johnson, I was transferred back to Casey who pretended to be his father. Really!? I had to simply hang up. How pathetic. We had referred numerous friends and family members to purchase vehicles from Rainer Dodge, not cheap ones either. My friend bought two Chargers from them and had expensive amenities added. Another purchased two vehicles with cash outright, the third a Charger. Love for Mopar is contagious. I had continued to refer people their way. I was happy with my truck and believe in giving credit where credit is due. I cannot even recall the number of random dudes that admired my truck and asked where they could get one like it. I have no choice but to stop that today, I am appalled at Casey's behavior and I feel bad for his father. I had nothing to do with whatever went down, didn't even truly know what happened. If it was anything like the sorry impersonation that Casey did of his father today and the attached phone games and antics I now understand my husbands anger. I used to be that voice saying, we bought a lot from Rainer Dodge and let's give them another chance. WOW, not sure what else to say.
Rainier Dodge had the truck that I was looking for and I got it for a good price. The service was excellent and I drove away happy.
We were looking for a new Mini Van and they made it very easy for us. No pressure! Brian did an excellent job and he the Dodge Caravan inside and out.... Very friendly staff from the salesman, internet person to the business manager. We would recommend Rainier Dodge to anyone looking for a Dodge vehicle.
I traded in a vehicle and got the exact car that I was looking for. The salesman was friendly and courteous and stayed past normal business hours to complete... the sale. I later came back and got my first oil change for free and the service department was friendly and helpful. They worked around my work schedule so that I could pick my car up after their regular Service hours. The overall experience was fantastic and I would go back to this dealer anytime.
