Never Fixed the Problem........Easier to Just Lie

2018 Buick Encore became difficult to start (in 2020) Check Engine Light came on. Took in ASAP for Service at Five Star Auto in Aberdeen, Washington. Told a new Battery was installed. Same problem persisted. Check Engine Light on again. Took in ASAP for Service. Was told the Check Engine Light CODE stated "Car needs to be Driven More". Increased the number of miles/days driven Problem persisted. Check Engine Light on again. Took in ASAP for Service. Same response. This scenario went on for almost a YEAR. As I substantially increased the number of miles/days driven (18 to 20 miles every other day) the Service Rep then told me that if I did not feel like driving to let my car run in the driveway for at least an hour daily or every other day because the battery had a lot of electronics it was responsible for and my car was getting old. Sorry but I am not that STUPID and did not follow that really bad advice. Within 5 days, of my last visit, the problem returned and Check Engine Light back on. Took my Car ASAP to Titus in Olympia, Washington (Apr 2021). PROBLEM FOUND. BAD BATTERY CABLE. This problem should have been found the 1st time or at a bare minimum the 2nd time. I was repeatedly lied to and was made to feel the problem was my fault. Oh and there is no Check Engine Light Code that states "Car Needs to be Driven More" .

Warranty check service

I would give a ten for service at five star very pleased with my new car salesman was very helpful I would recommend people an I have done so to buy a car from five star car dealers

Treated me like family and I got what I wanted!

My wife and I contacted Five Star Toyota to see if we could lease a car for my business. I was a little nervous about going to a dealership because many of my experiences have been negative. I was pleasantly surprised. We made an appointment with Allen and when we showed up there was a car warmed up and ready to test drive within my specifications & price range. He handed us over to Tim Costner, who joined us for the test drive. He answered all our questions and gave us a few options to consider. It was at that point I was waiting for the extra charges and uncomfortable up-selling. It never happened. He was relaxed, knowledgable and fun to talk with. We finally agreed on a price and the paperwork began. Mark Schlott took over and brought us into his office and explained the lease to us, the charges and showed us where to sign the documents. He was also very pleasant to work with. We went to make the down payment and again I was waiting for hidden charges, but nope, we paid exactly what we had agreed on. WOW! I drove off the lot with a brand new 2019 Toyota Corolla, only 8 miles on it. It was a great experience all around. I highly reccomend Five Star Toyota, quality folks, not pushy, but there to get me the best deal for what I needed. Moyer Multi Media LLC is thrilled to have a dealership in town like this! Thanks Rich Hartman and crew for making it a truly awesome experience.

2018 highlander

this is our third vehicle purchase in the last few years. Mitch our salesman treats us with awesome respect and understands our urgency when there is any issue. Jeremy the service manager takes the time to remove himself from desk duties and go with you to your vehicle to discuss any issue no matter how big or small. everyone here treats you with respect and a smile. come see for yourself.

Great Experience

Fantastic Service Department - None Better

I've been bringing my Camry Hybrid for servicing since 2009. 135,000 miles later, it runs like new. I credit Five Star for keeping my vehicle in tip-top shape. My next vehicle will be another Toyota Hybrid, specifically because of Five Star's service department.

Very Satisfied
