I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding service I always receive from Luke, Dodie, and James. Especially, during my recent car purchase at Whitney Chevrolet. Your patience, expertise, and genuine willingness to address all my concerns made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Specifically, I appreciate your attention to my buget. I am thrilled with my new Chevrolet Trax and look forward to returning to Whitneys for any future service needs, knowing I will always receive excellent care. Thank you again for making my car buying experience so positive. Sincerely, Pamela Pratt

Do not purchase a car from them!!! They do not stand behind their cars and trucks. At our most vulnerable we needed a reliable car for cancer treatments. The car was in the shop over 12 times in less than 7 months. Go elsewhere!

Consumer response

You should be ashamed for selling us a pick up that you knew was a lemon as it had been brought back by another buyer with the same issues. You were completely unresponsive to our attorney and arbitration. This was our worst car buying experience in 50 years of buying cars and trucks.

Salesman and sales manager five stars professional, polite, honest, helpful. Finance individual no stars after sale or car due to ask us to lie on form to get an item replaced. The car only had one key, was told last owner has and will bring it in, never did we bought the added coverage that will cover one time a key we were told. When we went o get the paperwork to complete was told to lie and say we lost the key. No we never got the 2nd key, appears the finance individual was trying to save commission or something due to the key is expensive. Where is the integrity?

It all started with our trip to town for a family’s wedding. We RV and had just arrived at an RV Park in Elma, WA. We were pulling our GMC Canyon. It was about 4:00 pm and were unhooking our rig when we discovered that the Canyon had something wrong and would not move! All sorts of thoughts entered our minds. We looked on the Internet and saw the closest dealer was Whitney’s in Montesano, WA. The wife called and told them what was going on. Steve said he would have someone out within a couple hours to lift it up and take it to Montesano. Well the driver arrived about 30 minutes later and took our sweet baby into Montesano. Steve had explained that it was probably something to do with the computer module and to be prepared. He said it would be the diagnostic charge of $200 per hour, the repair and the cost of the tow. If they needed parts, it would be the following Monday or later. We knew it needed done and were prepared for the sticker shock. Saturday came and it finally sunk into our thick skulls that we were without a rig to get us to the wedding (not counting a 38-foot coach) and we looked up rental car dealers in the area. Yes, Whitney’s was the closest, so we called. The gent who helped us said his “rental lady” was off today but he would call and see if she would come in and help us out. She called me back about 12:30 and said no problem. She would come get us and bring us in to fill out the paperwork. Since we had a rig in the shop, she gave us a super deal on the Equinox she was letting us have while the rig was in the shop. She helped the wife get the walker in the rig and all the necessities out of the Canyon. What wonderful service! Come Monday morning, we called the shop and were elated to find out the rig was ready to go! We were out of towners and we were at their mercy but with the diagnostic fee, repair, rental etc. it was barely $300! We wish service at a dealership was this fine in the Tri-Cities where we are from.

I will never again bother with this dealership. This was my 3rd vehicle I purchased through Whitney’s! Their new sales practice is a disgrace! I signed and was called back to resign because of their mistake! Then treated us like dirt. Don’t worry, all my repairs and oil changes will go to Titus Will no matter how much they charge me!

We were looking to purchase a used SUV with a 3rd row We simply came to Whitney's to just test drive to narrow our search. We left with a "new" used car. No pressure, very good customer service, good deal for both parties, and very up front about our buying options and other expenses. We purchased another vehicle 3 years ago, and I left irritated! This was a very pleasant buying experience, and would highly recommend dealing with Whitney's.

We worked with Mike Parker who made the process easy and painless . He was pleasant to deal with and went the extra mile accommodating our requests with the help of the body shop. We are enjoying our Tahoe. Thank You Tina and Neil Deffenbaugh
