Loved the salesman.
Loved the salesman. Paperwork was short and sweet. Didn't take long at the dealer ship.

I wish I could be leaving a better review for this place,
I wish I could be leaving a better review for this place, but unfortunately, our experience has been nothing short of a disaster. My fiancé and I visited three times, each time dealing with Wilfredo, and at first, things seemed promising. We were interested in the Hyundai Santa Fe and were told Hyundai’s loaner service was great—no more hassle like we had with our Range Rover. He even promised us that if we ever needed a loaner, we’d get a comparable vehicle or even a Genesis. That reassurance played a huge part in our decision to move forward. Fast forward to July 8, 2024: we bought a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy, the top model, paying $55,000 with $20,000 down. And then, the nightmare began. Just two days after buying the car, a recall was issued (JULY 7, 2024), but no one from the dealership bothered to mention it. Not even Wilfredo, who texted us on July 13 asking for a review but conveniently left out that small detail. We had no idea the car had any issues until we started experiencing transmission problems two weeks later. Instead of being informed about the recall, we unknowingly drove a car with a failing transmission back to the dealership, endangering ourselves in the process. And when my fiancé asked the service department if they’d seen this issue before, they acted clueless—even with a PUBLIC RECALL issued! They shrugged it off and offered us a stripped-down Tucson as a loaner. A $28,000 vehicle—how is that remotely comparable to the $55,000 car we just bought? Then came the real slap in the face: a call from Hyundai telling us that the transmission was completely ruined, and the car needed a new one. Oh, and by the way, the issue was due to that same recall we had to learn about on TIKTOK. After asking again for a loaner comparable to what we purchased, we got stuck with another bare-bones Tucson. What happened to that "comparable vehicle" promise? The car spent 45 days at the dealership before we got it back. Two days later, it was back again because they didn’t properly install the transmission plate. And yes, we got stuck with yet another stripped-down Tucson. Then, a few days later, we had to return AGAIN—every single light on the dashboard lit up, ABS brakes weren’t working, none of the safety features functioned, and an engine malfunction warning appeared. This car is a disaster, and after two more days, we’re still waiting to hear anything from Hyundai about what’s wrong. My fiancé even tried helping by mentioning common fixes he found online, and they refused to consider any of it. This whole experience has been beyond unacceptable. We’ve suffered mental anguish, wasted countless days, and lost money. The incompetence from sales, management, and Hyundai corporate is staggering. We are absolutely disgusted with the way we’ve been treated.

Stay away from this dealership.
Stay away from this dealership. Sales team will promise you a great service best warranty etc but in fact it is all a fiction. Free car wash is always closed, loaners are hardly available and most importantly service department is really bad. Genesis and JD power will send you a customer satisafaction survey after a visit but be aware that if you respond truthfully and provide them with low satisfaction they will refuse your warranty service. Yes that is what happened to me. My oil change and recall service was cancelled by service manager because I guess trying to get better at service work is not worth it.

We purchased a car for my teen aged daughter on Saturday.
We purchased a car for my teen aged daughter on Saturday. 2 sales people told us the car had a 150 point inspection, and there was nothing wrong with the car. Specifically, they said the car was safe, looking my 16 year old in the eye while assuring her. Lies were told, either in the fact that there was no inspection, or that they sold us an unsafe car. Do not do business with Napleton. They are snakes who willingly put young drivers at risk to make a buck. Shady as they come. Avoid this dealership at all costs, they are unsavory, unethical and lose no sleep over endangering new drivers. Sean and Dave both lied to our faces and took advantage of our family.

Deceptive business, damaged car, non-responsive
I purchased a 2018 Kia Sportage at Napletons Hyundai Glenview. It had 106K miles, but I was shown a report showing all of the items that were inspected on the car. It was 2 pages with a cover page I was asked to sign. I was told this report would be included in my sales paperwork (it was not). There were 3 categories on that checklist report. 1 was in working order -no maintenance needed. 2 working but has issues and needs maintenance/repair, or 3 not working. Every category number 1 was checked. The report showed everything was in complete working order. My son followed me home from the dealership. I watched him in the rear view the entire way home. The next time he went to start it, it was dead in the garage. I spent 2 days trying to contact anyone at Napleton's. I texted, called, left voicemails, and emails to the sales person, the store manager, the online sales coordinator. No one returned any of these. I created an inquiry on a different car through the website and was called back within the hour. I explained to her that I was not looking for a car, but help with the dead car in my garage they sold me on Saturday night 11/11/23. She immediately transferred me to Dan Meegan the manager. Yet his phone does not accept voicemails and he once again did not answer. Called a tow company and had the car towed (on a flatbed) to the mechanic I have used over 15 years for various cars. The starter died. There are no signs of this so I don’t fault Napleton's there. My issue is the radiator! And antifreeze! The car had “maybe a gallon” of antifreeze due to the radiator. There was no antifreeze on my garage floor. The radiator was bent FORWARD not backward if one hit something. I’d heavily caution everyone from buying at that dealership. They put my child at risk. Without antifreeze the engine could have had serious issues. This all occurred 3 days after driving off the lot. Also, they handed me the auto check report that showed no accidents. I have since pulled the carfax. The car was in an accident on 8/28/23 and serviced on 9/29/23 at this dealership. It was offered for sale at this dealership on 10/23/23.

Horribly Unprofessional
Let me congratulate this dealership on maintaining all the worse, stereotypical aspects, of the used car business. In need of a car in relative short order, I decided on purchasing a used Hyundai from my local Hyundai dealer. The tires were overinflated to conceal a slow leak from a nail in one of them, and the car was consistently devoid of oil. Several weeks after an oil change, the engine seized up without warning in the middle of traffic. Came to learn ,that this year and make ,was subject to a class action law suit, for this very happenstance. Either this was known to the business, or it should has been known. It would have been ethically professional of all involved with car, to have alerted me to the potential problems this car could experience. This situation could have led to an accident ,that may have resulted in serious harm to myself, or others. Selling safe automobiles should be the hallmark of any reputable dealership. Napleton Hyundai of Glenview failed miserably in this instance. You have a vast amount of options when it comes to purchasing a used car. Based on my experience ,you may want to avoid this business. It could potentially save your ,or someone else's, life.

Non-negotiable dealer add ons are a rip off
$2400 worth of add-ons. All of them garbage. The GM says you should be happy because he's not charging markup. Wake up bozo, its 2023 and this sedan has been on your lot for 106 days. Don't waste your time with this place.

Dealership advertised car at sticker price.
Dealership advertised car at sticker price. Wanted to purchase until they added lots of extras to the price. Would not sell the vehicle as advertised unless I bought the options, which I didn’t need or want.
