A Positive Buying Experience

August 31, 2021 Saccucci Review I bought a new, 2021 Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid from Saccucci Honda in Middletown, RI. Being new to hybrid vehicles, from the beginning when I walked through the door and asked to talk to someone knowledgeable about plug-in hybrids, I felt comfortable dealing with the Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Manager, Casey Martin. For the past 3 years, Casey has been driving the type of car I was looking to buy. He was honest and forthcoming about the pros and cons from his experience. I place a lot of value on dealing with companies and people that are trustworthy, technically knowledgeable and competent, and that provide high quality customer service, especially on big ticket items. When I asked Casey to put some numbers together regarding the total cost of the vehicle, the value of my trade-in, and the bottom line, I was extremely surprised to see that Saccucci was passing on to me a $5,000 Honda incentive discount off the MSRP for my new Clarity. That discount never came up in my dealings with other dealerships as I was pricing the very same car with other dealers in RI and MA. All other dealers were asking for the MSRP of $34,790 or close to it. Once I decided I wanted to buy the Clarity, there were a few hurdles to overcome. First, Casey needed to locate a Clarity from another dealer. Saccucci had sold their last one. Within a day he found one. From that point, the Saccucci team was very helpful facilitating the delivery and registration process, complicated by the need to schedule appointments to do in-person business in the MA RMV. Saccucci normally takes care of the registration process, but I wanted to get my new “EV” plate ASAP, which can take up to 2-3 weeks. Once a next-business-day appointment was scheduled, they made it happen covering for staff vacations, time off, etc.. Special thanks to Pat McLaughlin and Shannon, sales consultants, Stephanie, Kellyann, and other back-office staff. Also, special thanks to Luke for a great job introducing me to my new car with a well organized and thorough orientation. Service and collision centers are excellent

All I can say is WOW (in the best way) about my recent experience with their service department and collision center. My family moved to Rhode Island in October after living my whole life in the upper Midwest. I found out about Saccucci Honda because I drove by it on the way to my parents house in Middletown. Jason Poston in your service department is a huge asset to the dealership. He has helped me with numerous things from day one, including things like spilled soda making the parking brake sticky to putting on my RI plates to inspecting the underside of the car when I drove over a curb recently. While I was there to get the underside of the car looked at I showed him some damage to the bumper from when a F150 had recently hit my parked car. I had been planning to take it to Quonset because they’re like 1/4 mile from where I live, but when I was in the service department Jason grabbed Michaela from the collision center and showed her the damage. I was dubious that they could repair it just by refinishing the bumper, and so she looked it over. I didn’t notice at all, but Michaela immediately saw that the trunk alignment was off. She reminded me that I’m able to take it anywhere I choose for the repair, so I cancelled my appointment with Quonset. Within a couple weeks they were able to get my car in for repair, and I had a lovely CRV to drive while it was fixed. I dropped my car off on Monday morning, and on Friday I got an email from her that my car was ready. But after that I got a call from USAA saying they found more damage and had to do another inspection. I was so confused! I called Michaela, and she immediately straightened me out. It really was ready. USAA just took their time calling me (they’d been out days prior). It’s a 2017 Civic, so I was SO pleased to see that my car looks good as new. And the inside and outside were beautifully detailed. I was so happy with my experience that I will continue going to Saccucci for all my needs even though my parents moved off the island and it’s a 40 minute drive each way. They’re just that good!

Excellent experience buying a new vehicle

I purchased a new Honda Accord from Saccucci Honda and the experience was top notch. I worked with Sales Consultant Pat McLaughlin and Internet Sales Consultant Eve Lowrimore during my vehicle selection and sale and they both were extremely helpful during the process. I would highly recommend Saccucci Honda to anyone looking to buying a new vehicle.

Mike and his team were excellent to work with. Adam helped set up and walked through the car tech parts when we picked up our new car. Financing was easy and painless. Highly recommend this dealership for any car needs.

Excellent! Great service and sales team

Couldn’t be happier with my shopping experience at Saccucci Honda. Given COVID, much of my original communication had to happen via email with Barbara (she’s great). When I came in, the sales team was excellent. They were safe, respected social distance, generous with their time and outlined pricing clearly and when in person I was able to be quick and efficient with the time. Support a RI dealer and Saccucci is my “go to” now. Thanks!

Worth the travel time

I traveled from Connecticut to Rhode Island because Saccucci Honda offered an excellent price and no hard-sell tactics. I needed to turn in a lease and buy a new vehicle. There were three states involved, as I have moved recently. All was taken care of right there, no DMV headache for me.

Michael Meyer

Michael Meyer is wonderful, takes care of Everything and makes it so easy to get into a new car, he is pleasant, professional has everything set up for you, no wasting of time and is wonderful calculating all the paper work, he is a true asset tho the Honda Company, he runs his department like a well oiled machine and is very, very well liked and respected by his co workers, he made my day and I also dealt with Gary Rubin who was great , and helpful. Everyone in that dealership is so pleasant and helpful, Michael has a Great crew and certainly represent Honda well . The Saccucci Family are a very well respected Family in the community and give a lot to All. great Experience.

Awesome buying experience at Saccucci!

David Fontaine, Casey Martin, Kellyanne Barrett and the entire Saccucci team made this one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. I was looking for a particular year and trim level in a pre-owned Accord and I found it on their website. I then called up to set an appointment and when I got there, the car was clean, ready, pulled up and waiting. From there, Casey Martin introduced me to David, who could not have been more accommodating. David was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. he shared with me all the details of the car and, and after driving it, we agreed on numbers and they knew I was on my "lunch break" and had to get back to work. I secured the car with a deposit and we agreed to set up my delivery two days later. When I arrived back at the dealership, the car was fully cleaned, gassed and ready to go! Kellyanne, the finance manager, made signing the paperwork quick and easy and within 30 minutes, I was headed out the door with my new car! The Sacccuccis have a great team, a beautiful dealership and they should be proud of their employees. Thank you for making it so easy!

Great Car, Great Price, Great Dealership

We just bought a new Honda CRV from Saccucci. They listened to how we liked to do business. Gave us a great price and were a pleasure to do business with. I tried to buy a car from another dealership at first, nearer to my home, and it was nothing but a hassle.
