BEWARE DISHONEST DWALERSHIP.

BEWARE DISHONEST DWALERSHIP. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! Signed a purchase agreement for a vehicle late on a Friday afternoon, so was told couldn't finalize details until Saturday. Sales rep said not to worry because by signing the purchase agreement, the car was "guaranteed" mine. Saturday morning came and I received a message saying they didn't have the staff to complete the sale until Monday. Odd, but not a big deal seeing that I had the guarantee, so I said no problem. Dealership sold the car to someone else on Saturday and didn't even have the decency to pick up the phone to explain, instead received a one line email Monday morning saying it was sold. When I tried to call to get more information, two reprentatives claimed to look into the issue, but failed to return my call with any explanation. Finally the original salesperson called me back after sending my calls to voicemail, saying so sorry my goof, I forgot to put a sold sign in the vehicle. Upon further inquiry, the person they supposedly sold the car to couldn't complete the sale and take possession of the vehicle until Thursday, four days after they said it was sold. I contacted the general manager before making this review to see if he could explain the situation and make an attempt to make this right, but he refused to take my call or return my voice message. Tells you all you need to know about the integrity of this business. Incredibly dishonest and incompetent dealership. Do business elsewhere!

I recently had a troubling experience with the Toyota

I recently had a troubling experience with the Toyota service center in Berlin City, Portland, Maine. After my son took his car in for service, we noticed strange and concerning noises coming from the wheels while driving on the highway, making the car unsafe to drive. When my son returned to the service center, he spoke with Jeffrey Bishop, who was in charge of the service. Jeffrey informed us that we would be charged for additional service and was unprofessional and disrespectful, raising his voice at my son. Despite requesting to speak with the manager, Ben Krauter, the situation was not resolved. Jeffrey continued to be confrontational, which was shocking and unacceptable for a customer service experience. Ultimately, we had to pay for a second round of service, even though the initial problem was caused by their work. After picking up the car and paying again, the issue persisted, and we discovered that the wheel studs were loose, which is extremely dangerous. The service center’s handling of the situation was appalling, and the main issue remains unresolved. I strongly advise against using this service center due to their poor customer service and the dangerous quality of their work.

Just purchased my 2nd vehicle from this dealership and I must say I loved the experience . My salesman Colin Kimball made the process so easy and went out of his way to do everything I asked and his knowledge and effort was truly a difference maker. The staff was amazing and made this a truly exceptional experience. 1st class. .

Went in to Berlin City to test drive a Tacoma and Tundra.

Went in to Berlin City to test drive a Tacoma and Tundra. First, I was hooked up with salesman Michael Profenno. Mike could not have been any more patient, understanding and helpful if he tried. I did not intend on purchasing a vehicle that day, but that is exactly what I did. It took about 6 weeks for my Tacoma to be delivered, and between Mike and Peter Thibault helping get me get up to speed on the technology of getting everything hooked up, I am up and running. I could not have been more satisfied with my purchase and experience with Berlin City Toyota. Thank you Mike and Peter.

This has to be the worst service department I have ever

This has to be the worst service department I have ever visited. The service advisor was very aggressive and dismissive. I guess I should not have shared with him that I was going to recommend that my daughter stop bringing her Highlander to the dealership for service, because at that point his physical posture, sarcastic response and facial expressions made it very evident the situation could escalate out of control. We will never use this dealership again.

Truly awful service.

Truly awful service. Really nasty sales manager. Wow was I surprised and disappointed. I was really thinking that Toyota / Lexus would have high quality employees but I guess you can not count on anything like that anymore. The cars may be very high quality but in this dealership the employees don't match the quality of the cars.
