One of the worst dealerships I have ever been to In My Life I am a 55 year old man and I've been driving for years and never experienced what I experience with this dealership I purchased this vehicle from this dealership February the 19th of 2021 and 2 weeks later the check engine light came on thought I would be covered by the buyer's guideline and their dealers warranty which was 90 days and they did not honor that so to everyone that can see this review do not purchase a vehicle from BMW of Bloomfield they are the worst with standing by their vehicles that they sell two people and do not honor there dealers warranty

Bad sales experience !! Stay away!!!!
This is a nightmare of a place .. stay away and keep your sanity intact!! I was duped by the sly, malicious and aggressive salesman Bobby Kaufman who told me over several calls that they were going through an office renovation and could not keep the BMW 440ix drive I had selected in their lot for too long ( sales tactic).... during these times of Covid this place still not offer any online transactions and does not work with customers for shipment!!! Bobby convinced me that based on my excellent credit score (over 800) I would be able to avail the low BMW finance interest rates applicable to a new car. The car we liked had around 9k miles and was previously given to a BMW executive before being sold to this dealership over an auction. It all seemed to be a great deal for us and we decided to make the decision of flying down from Raleigh the very next morning to complete the paperwork and drive back in our new car. We scrambled last minute to complete all paperwork including procuring the cashiers cheque for the downpayment, arranging sitter for our kids last minute and taking the first flight in over 1.5 years since Covid!! Little did we know that this dealership had no value for peoples time or money because it became apparent that they now wanted to squeeze more money out of us as soon as we got there.. knowing that we did not have a return flight booked, Bobby proceed to tell me that they could no longer honor the low interest rate he had earlier promised, because the car had higher mileage which would not qualify it as a new car (something he should have told me before we made the decision to fly down!!!) .. I could not believe his lack of any empathy for our situation, there was no sense of urgency to get us out of there, there was not even a seat offered to us while we stood there waiting... and when I proceeded to question this total lack of integrity nobody (no management) came to talk to us, explain and calm us down... they really thought they had us by the hook since we had made all arrangements to drive back with the car and therefore they could play with our emotions and our finances!!! Needless to say we left that afternoon, sad, disgruntled and totally confused. We had to book the next flight back home (another expense we had no plans of). We are now proud owners of a BMW from another dealership which gave us the total opposite experience of this place... I would never ever again want to do any business with these guys and would advice everyone who is reading this to stay away from this dealership and that salesperson- Bobby Kaufman!!!

No Brand Values Stay clear of dealership
This dealership does not adhere to brand values nor care about a customer when issues arrive. The culture from top down GM and of a parent company is unacceptable. Purchased a car in Nov of 2020 and the deal was miss handled from day one when sales and service don't communicate to have the car ready and with issues required to be fixed prior to possession placed in writing along with all sales people left with no help awaiting keys and issues. Had to contact corporate to work on getting things resolved taking over a week later. Of course now upon another experience which is including legal retaliation to my belief, will be decided in court. The GM has chosen not to work for an amicable resolution, and ignores to respond when facing a lawsuit but enables this to my belief, this culture and invites lawsuits to occur against a public company. Poor service, poor communication and they have received a 0 on bmw customer satisfaction survey. I would stay clear of this dealership to my belief, shall you not want a headache or want to feel some brand value of a customer relationship moving forward. Very sad and poor management, there may be other bmw dealerships that represent the true brand values of bmw , and return calls not just when they receive a poor rating making a customer file a legal suit for awaiting recourse. To my belief, this was my experience and would stay clear and think twice prior to purchasing from this dealership and or service here, No customer loyalty or values.

VERY UNPLEASANT SERVICE. AFTER AGREED WITH PRICE. FINACIAL OFFICER MAKE US WAIT FOR 48 MINUTES. AND THE CONTRACT HAS US$199.00 PREVIOUSLY AGREED TO TAKE OUT. AT THE END SALES SUPERVISOR MR. CHENG WAS VERY ARROGANT AND ADAMAND. REFUSED TO TAKE DOWN THE 199.00 AND LET US GO FOR THAT SMALL DIFFERENCE. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

Worst Experience in BMW After our 4th Car
Purchased car ended up with over $7000 in repairs. Bad tires, tie rods, oil leaks. The 60 point inspection prior to the sale was never done and was total lie.

RIPPED OFF BY BMW OF BLOOMFIELD ***UPDATE 11/19***
***UPDATE 11/19 - BMW corporate was willing to waive much of the excess charges, and they told me that the dealer would reimburse me as well. At their request I called and spoke to the general manager who told me that THEY WOULD ONLY REIMBURSE ME IF I REMOVED MY REVIEWS. Absolutely disgraceful but not surprising from a dealer like this. BUYER BEWARE*** I leased a car with Bobby Kaufman three years ago when he was at Park Avenue BMW. The experience went fine, and I was so comfortable with the experience that I returned to Bobby, now with Bloomfield BMW when my lease was coming to a close. The price of the new X5 was above my budget, and I let Bobby know that I would be leasing a car elsewhere. He asked me to give him to seek out a better deal on an X6. When we spoke again he had a deal I was happy with, one that included waiving my excess miles charges and remaining lease payments. We spoke about this on several occasions and he made it clear that the only out of pocket charges I would have would be the down payment and any wear and tear charges on my old vehicle. I trusted Bobby completely and agreed to the deal over the phone. After receiving the new car, I started to receive bills from BMW for the remaining payments and excess miles charges, totaling over $4,000. When I confronted Bobby about it, I expected he would tell me that it was an oversight and would be fixed, but instead he just became very hard to reach and acted like he didn't remember any of our conversations. I'm in the process of notifying everyone I know about this scam artist and will make sure that as many people as possible learn about my experience with BMW of Bloomfield.
Terrible car and customer service
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I recently Leased a 2019 BMW X3 and had nothing but problems! The car was used as a loaner with over 4,000 miles. The front brakes and rotors were bad and needed to be replaced the first week I had the car. Then there were whistling sounds coming out of the heater and under the car. The car was taken in for service 3 times and this last time it took forever to order and replace the differential part and my vehicle is still there for two weeks! Since April 9, 2019. I only had the car for three weeks. I’ve written emails to the general manager, William Finsilver, and called several times , but he refuses to speak to me. He has the service advisor and manager call me instead. He is the WORST person I have ever dealt with!!! I called BMW of North America and placed a complaint and opened a full investigation on this matter. I’m paying for a vehicle that I have not had in my possession for two weeks! I requested a new car or my money back. I’m still waiting for a response. My dream of owning a BMW has turned into a nightmare!!!!

I am a long time bmw Omer , over twenty years now , usually I change my car for a newer one every two years, I have dealt with many dealers and salesmen over the years . Two weeks ago, I traded my x 6 for 440 convertible. I live in Connecticut, two hours away from Bloomfild bmw , but the process was easier than ever , started with a phone call to the best salesman Andre Lindsay , who was Obove and beyond as far as communicating information, getting every aspect of the sale done professionally. I went home with the new car happy . I can not thank Andre enough for his excellence in sales , i am lucky he took my call when I called the dealership for information. I will refer all my colleges , friends to this guy and to Bloomfild bmw .
