Finally did it!!
I had a great experience with Sharon and everyone that i encountered there. It took me a few months from my first visit there, but ultimately, Sharon was super kind, understanding and just so helpful that I decided it was time. I bought the xc90 2 weeks ago and i love it!
Great service at Cherry Hill Volvo
Glad to have a service advisor who has been with me through three cars and who explains everything at my level. Always a pleasant experience--including fair prices.
What can I say?
We were on the road, coming back from the Jersey Shore, and the check engine light came on. As it happened, we could drive past Cherry Hill Volvo and I called and their service pro, Jean, said come in and they would hook it up to the computer. Turned out to be not serious, but they took us right in, no appt. and it was fixed. In a few hours, we were headed home across the river in Philadelphia. Just fantastic. We've purchased 3 Volvo wagons from Judith and the CH sales team. Every one was well worth it. If we need to, we'll get #4 there too. Also, the waiting are is comfy and has free wifi. It's been 21 years as a CH customer, and even when we had a couple of disagreements, they came through. That's a difference maker!
Told they'd hold car over weekend; sold it anyway.
Had some back-and-forth emails with Sarah Respes on a Friday about an XC70 that had just come in. She told me that afternoon she was off work for the weekend and would get back to me on Monday. Since I am buying from out of state, I called in and spoke with Mitchell Insel to see if I could place a deposit on the car so it would be held. He spoke with his manager and told me the car wouldn't be sold over the weekend and not to worry about it. On Monday Sarah emailed me with no remorse "The vehicle you were interested in was sold over the weekend." Awful customer service, if you're going to sell the car anyway, at least please don't lie about it. I also previously spoke with Mitchell about a different vehicle and he sounded very uninterested in the whole affair, never mind that I was trying to give him money for a car.
Cost of service was twice higher then given over the phone. It was to late to leave and look for another dealer. Simply not fair.
Although there was a bit of an issue with some of my XC90's features which were revealed after signing the lease agreement, Sarah was attentive and helpful in getting it resolved amicably and quickly.
Great customer service, as always!
I traded in my Volvo and bought a 2018 Volvo S90 as a demo from Judith on 12/19. Excellent sales service and very reasonably priced. 3rd Volvo bought here over past 8 years. I highly recommend. Also, recently updated new key AND software that they volunteered to do. Washed the car very well including bugs on grill! Both transportation gentleman.
Our service adviser was once again Jean Furter and as in the past she extended herself and the whole service department to be sure we were taken care of. The entire experience is beyond any we have had with any other dealership we ever dealt with.
Purchased a used 2016 XC60 18 months ago. It needed repairs almost immediately, including a new battery. Cutting to the chase, I'm now on battery #4. One, at this point, goes to the internet where I found a class action suit against Volvo for "parasitic battery drain." Hmmm. Last battery, installed on 12/8/2019, lasted exactly 2 months. I called the dealership and expressed concern about the issue. Apparently the Sirius connection is the cause of this battery drain, and I asked specifically to have this disconnected. I was told there was "software" to do it, and it was probably covered under warranty. Cut to the chase: they simply installed another battery, and no, the mechanic was never told it was the fourth such incident. I was able to speak to the mechanic who did the work, and he indicated he was never informed of the background of repairs on this car. He also told me the Sirius issue was only on older cars. Also, there seems to be a mantra on failed batteries at this dealership: "You're not sitting in the car listening to the radio?" No, and at 71 years of age it's kind of insulting. Furthermore, if I want to leave my car in the driveway for 2 days, I think I should not have to consider it a favor to have it start afterwards! Well, let's see how number 4 goes. There seems to be no plan in place for this eventuality--no clue. I've had more problems with this car in 18 months than I did with my Lexus in 6 YEARS! I wish I had gotten another Lexus. My bad.
Love my new lease from Cherry Hill Volvo!
For years I stayed with the same dealership/ manufacturer to avoid the stress of starting over with a new group when it came to leasing a car. I decided to take a risk this time and shop around. No other dealership in the area compares to the level of service the team at Cherry Hill Volvo provides. No pressure, available to always answer questions by phone, email, text! It is the only place I left feeling confident in my decision and not stressed or troubled. I promise you are in good hands with this sensational group. Thank you to Dennis, Andrew, Kaitlyn and of course Judith. I love my XC40!
