Took car in for what we thought was alternator. Turns out it was just a bad battery. In and out quick and at we paid about $20 over what I would have paid... had I done it myself and that included labor. Worth it.

Cracked windshield on Ascent just sitting in the garage. Would not cover under warranty with only being a year old. I found out that this happens all... the time and there is a class action suit against Subaru. Was ready to buy a Legacy for my wife but no more Subaru's until this is resolved.
BEWARE!!! I would give a 0 Stars if I could.. I had a friend drive my Subaru over for a Eye Sight re-calibration after the windshield was replaced because... I was out of town. **(The car was previously hit and already had the eye sight fixed and re-calibrated by a different Subaru Dealer once before.. Now a rock chipped the windshield recently so we had the windshield replaced and now needed the eyesight re-calibrated again)** They took advantage of my friend and told her that she needed to buy a $3,275 "warranty package" to be able to fix the eyesight to work.. She called me because she didn't know what to do, so I told her something is wrong and to not accept that warranty package.. So they charged her $138 for the visit because she came in and they looked at the car and told her they can only fix it with the warranty package.. We went to Grand Subaru, down the road and they had it fixed and ready to go within 1 Hour, with ZERO issues and without trying to scam us for over $3,000.. So on Napleton's Palatine Subaru's Invoice that we went to first, it said to call Chris Cantu Service Manager if we did not exceed or meet your expectations.. So I called and as soon as he picked up and I started saying, "I would like a refund for..., he right away smirked and said, "I'm not giving any refund".. I told him, I didn't even finish saying what the problem is.. When I finished telling him that we shouldn't be charged for the $138 as a "trip fee", when they couldn't fix a problem that a Dealer down the road fixed with no issues, he smirked again and said that he wont be giving any refund whatsoever.. Chris Cantu should not be working as a Service Manager when he has arrogance issues like this, taking advantage of people by trying to charge $3,275 for warranties and "trip charges" when it was THEIR own problem that they couldn't fix the eye sight.. Talk about the rudest customer service I have EVER received.. I would rate ZERO Stars if I could. BEWARE!!

The worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Was going to buy a car with my own financing. They lied to me that they need my SSN to proceed with the deal... (anti-terrorist check, etc) and performed the hard pull to my credit history without my approval for this. Moreover, I explicitly asked them not doing that. The management is too pushy and unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to deal with them.

Miss representation of a company and all should be fired.... 1 lied to get me there and then wouldn’t let me buy the car because they were all of a sudden closed (not the truth, he realized the vehicle I wanted was used and he couldn’t get commission off of it so he swung it to a rookie salesman) The next one called me the next morning to purchase the vehicle, once arrived he LIED and said the vehicle was on hold, had me test drive a car that I was supposed to buy the previous night, but while I’m on the test drive another salesman is selling the vehicle. Now down to the manager, who didn’t give a xxxx about reviews, corporate calls, nothing, basically said you snooze you lose. Not, let me correct this since you were here last night, you should be able to purchase the vehicle first seeing as you tried to buy the vehicle the night before and misrepresentation of the company closed before its scheduled time to close because this used car wasn’t bringing in any actual money for these guys. So I’m letting you know this company is not worth your time. They don’t care about the customer just the sale
We had an excellent experience at Napleton's Subaru. I had been in a car accident and my car was deemed a total loss- and so I was not expecting to be... in the car buying process nor was I looking forward to it! But Napleton's made it an easy and even enjoyable process. We had done our research, went to the car show, visited several other dealerships and eventually went to Napleton's based on positive recommendations from family members. The people at Napleton's were much more professional and knowledgeable than the individuals at other dealerships we had visited. We were very impressed with the General Manager, Danny, and all of the team members that we encountered. Everyone there was professional, friendly and worked hard to find us the Subaru Crosstrek package that met our needs and price range. We also received clear and helpful financial advising. The environment of the dealership is nice and comfortable, and as a pregnant lady I appreciated all of the free snacks! I appreciated that they called and checked in with me about a week after purchasing the car to see how things were working out and if I had any questions about the car. I would definitely recommend Napleton's to anyone looking for an easy, comfortable and professional car buying process.
Went to see an Elantra - emailed sales guy DAN SHUSTERMAN twice about availability - replied at 4:15 and I drove 30 miles was there by 7:00 where I was... informed it was SOLD. REALLY!!! Then they tried the old BAIT AND SWITCH to another car. Just wanted to get me in the door. Unscrupulous - AVOID!!
