Beware of Kimber at Russ Darrow Mazda of Madison.
Beware of Kimber at Russ Darrow Mazda of Madison. She’s a Karen. If you don’t want to buy any of the additional packages, she will go on a power trip and start saying microagressive things to you and then call her team to get you escorted out. Kimber, the Finance Manager was the rudest and most racist person. I have never had an encounter like this before. I am still in shock. I worked with Adrian, who by the way was great, and finalized on a beautiful CPO 2021 red cx5. I got the auto insurance and approved loan and all that was left was to sign the last few documents. Kimber took us into her office and began sharing information about some of their packages. She began with the highest package and I listened and engaged with her in conversation. When she was done explaining that package, I had told her that to save her and me time, that I wasn’t interested in any of the packages. Automatically her demeanor changed. She became pushy about the packages. I also shared with her that we didn’t have time and had to leave soon but wanted to leave with the car, so we would like to talk about the loan. She refused to and still pushed on the packages and then aggressively slammed a pen in front of me and said that she would just give me the papers to sign and that I wouldn’t even know what I am signing (because I am Asian and my family member’s first language isn’t English). I was shook at her actions and words and told her that what she just said was very rude. She refused to listen and then called someone and said the customer who had a mini cooper who is trying to get the red cx5 needs to be escorted out. I have never been treated this way at any dealerships before. Kimber is a disgusting person. And she also had the audacity to say that she had a lot of immigrant friends. #KimberTheKaren

The salesman was nice, TILL I paid for the car! After that, you are not important! The finance manager was condescending and mad because I didn't finance! The sales manager does NOT follow-up as promised! Mazda is a great product but the dealership culture sucks!

People were friendly, especially the sales person Adrian. He covered all the details. There was a pretty hard sale on the add-ons, which I did not appreciate. The car was prepped very well.
