my 2015 GMC truck broke down while traveling thru Oxford, had it towed to Cannon, and that was a HUGE mistake! The service guy (Colby) that was assigned... to me wasnt much help either! When i could get him on the phone, all i got was a run-around. During the 4 weeks(27 days) that my truck was at Cannon, the so called expert technicians managed to replace fuel pump, 2 modules & a vent hose. All of which could have be done by anyone with a tool kit in no more than a half day! After i finally took it upon myself to drive the 2 hours back to the dealership to pick my rig up(nobody ever called and said it was ready nor returned my calls) i write them a $2200.00 check and leave the dealership. I make it almost to Batesville and my check engine light came back on and my truck still isnt running right! But i can promise that it will NOT be going back to Cannon Motor Company to get repaired! I will never take another vehicle there no matter the circumstances, nor would i ever buy a vehicle fron them! That place is a joke !!!

I am going to be honest as well and nice about my experience at Cannon. Everyone at the service department were extremely nice and my issues were resolved.... The problem that I experienced was that I had a very difficult time getting updates on my vehicle, getting anyone to return my phone calls, getting someone on the phone to provide updates, and most importantly, resolving my problems in a timely manner. I initially took my 2016 GMC Sierra in for 3 things. The safety alert seat module wasnt working properly, the transmission shifted hard when braking at low speeds and then accelerating, and there was a very loud pop when turning left hard. I took my truck in at the end of May for all 3 of these issues. The safety alert seat issue was fixed but the seat moves when turning curves. The transmission issue wasnt resolved nor was the popping noise when turning left. I couldnt leave the truck with them to have the other 2 issues resolved as we were leaving for vacation so I rescheduled for the week following our return from vacation. When I returned from vacation, I called to see what time I needed to bring the truck in and they had not rescheduled. I setup a date to bring the truck in, asked them to look into the seat moving, and left it there for 4 days. When I received the truck back, the transmission issue was resolved but the popping noise was still there and the seat was still moving. I should mention that I could replicate this issue on demand so each time I went to pick up the truck, I immediately turned sharply left and the popping noise was still there. I left the truck for a third time for 3-4 more days and finally the popping noise was resolved. This time I lost my cool a little as I was told that a part was ordered for my truck and that it would be installed the following morning but I called back the following morning and was told by the same person that the part would be in that afternoon and wouldnt be ready until the following day. Today, the transmission shifts fine and the popping noise is gone. The seat, however, still moves and I really dont know that I want to take it back in to be told that nothing is wrong with the seat. The seat never moved until the safety alert module was replaced. With all of this being said, Cannon took care of me by providing me a loaner vehicle each time that I dropped my truck off and they were always very accommodating but there is no excuse for the quality of service that I received as I should not have had my truck returned until all issues were resolved and I should not have had to bring the truck back 3 different times. I also should not have to call the dealership back multiple times throughout the day in order to try and get an update on my truck since my phone calls were not returned.
