I was in a jam, with 2 parties heading to LAX; one of us

I was in a jam, with 2 parties heading to LAX; one of us heading up for an international flight. As we started to drive, we discovered the air pressure in one tire had dropped very low. We knew it would be too dangerous to drive far. Although we did not have an appointment, Tustin Hyundai squeezed us in at the last minute. Understanding we had 2 flights to catch, he ensured customer service prioritize the tire patch. Within an hour and a half, the work was completed and we all made our flights on time. Thank you David Kim for hearing our issue and helping us to get back on the road safely. We are so thankful to David and the staff at Tustin Hyundai!

Horrible CS - How the heck did they get 5 stars?

Took my vehicle here for service as it was closer than the Dealer I purchased the vehicle from. First time it was towed due to an engine issue and it took them 2 days to contact me with the diagnosis. Then it was almost a week later before they called back again with an update. The vehicle ended up being there for over 2 mos. The 2nd time I had to bring it back for a recall related to the 1st issue and an oil change. Unlike my other dealer, they provided no loaner vehicle and were quite arrogant and condescending when I asked questions about their services, as if they were some premier dealer like Mercedes, BMW or Lexus (who actually would provide their clients with a free loaner). Apparently that’s only reserved now for Genesis owners. They did have a shuttle service, but instead of a van or using one of their Santa Fe 7 seater SUV’s, they crammed 5 of us in a Sonata. What they didn’t bother to mention was they do not pick up. They didn’t call me until 5:i8 to let me know my vehicle was ready and then informed me they would not be able to pick me up and I had to be there by 6:00 pm to pick up my vehicle if I wanted it that day. I was forced to scramble to find a ride or an Uber. Needless to say, I wasn’t going to make 6 pm. I called back and they said I would have to pay over the phone and they could leave my keys with the receptionist. When I arrived, no keys were to be found. I had to search the service area myself to find my keys. Oh yes, and both my regular Hyundai Dealer and my Lexus Dealer provide a free loaner vehicle for all servicing and return my vehicle to me clean and washed. Nope, no wash. Clearly this dealer is more about their profit margin than the quality of their CS or how they treat their customers. Think I’ll ever be back…think again! Get a clue Patterson Deep Pockets. Looking to service your Hyundai…I’d look elsewhere…plenty of dealers in the OC.

Shady dealer sold me a lemon

I purchased a new 2017 Tuscon in May. From day one this car has shifted very rough, almost stalls, and fails to accelerate from a stop. I have taken it back several times because I have almost been in 3 accidents. Hyundai's service managers tell me these are known problems and nothing can be done. Hyundai has a TSB (technical service bulletin) safety recall describing these exact problems that they have sent out to all of it's dealers. Yet Hyundai states there is nothing wrong and refuses to refund me my money or give me a safe, properly functioning vehicle. Tustin Hyundai won't even acknowledge my existence, non the less that they are putting my safety at risk. Tustin Hyundai, John Patterson the owner, and Hyundai motor obviously value the bottom line more than lives. To make matters worse my salesman BIll Farris knew about this and that I have a previous neck injury that is aggravated by jarring or bouncing. I even told him that I can't mountain bike or ride horses anymore because it makes my neck worse. He didn't care that the very rough shifting would make my neck worse! He intentionally with held vital information regarding my health and safety. They won't even stand by their own product or value customers like me. They haven't even tried to make things right. They are just hoping I will go away like thousands of others have being duped and told to just deal with it nothing can be done. Simply look up Hyundai Tuscon dual clutch problems and you will thousands of the same complaints. DO NOT Trust Tustin Hyundai, John Patterson, Or Hyundai motor with your money , more importantly your life!!!

They make buying a car an enjoyable experience!

Bill Farris was the first person I met when I contacted the dealership. We had a brief meeting and he became my contact person. Bill is very pro-active & knowledgeable and handled the entire buying process in a very professional yet relaxed & friendly manner. He took the time to answer all my questions with clarity and in detail. It made the entire buying process very smooth and enjoyable and was completed in a reasonable amount of time in spite of the fact that the dealership had to make a dealer transfer to get the car I wanted. I highly recommend Bill Farris. He is an experienced professional and an asset to the Tustin Hyundai team!

Stressless purchase of my new Santa Fe Sport

I just purchase a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport at Tustin Hyundai yesterday and want to say thank you to Shawn Brown. We initially spoke when I had questions about a car I saw online. He had no sales pitch, just helpful, honest answers with no pressure. I called him back a couple of days later and he was happy to do some research on questions I had regarding a specific vehicle. I told him I lived in San Diego and didn't want to waste my time driving to Orange County only to find I was being misled. He offered to put a "sold" sign in the vehicle so that it would still be available when I got up there, with no obligation to buy. When I got to the dealership, I felt very comfortable working with Shawn. After just a bit of negotiation, we closed the deal. I would definitely recommend him and the dealership to friends, family and anyone reading this review.

Purchasing my Santa Fe from Tustin Hyundai

Doug helped me select my Santa Fe from inventory, no need to go looking, and we made just one pass at negotiating price. I knew what the internet pricing was (like 90% of all buyers do) and got a fair trade in for my 2007 Honda, and that was it. There finance dept was busy, so I requested to come back 1st thing the next day, and I was done with the paper work in 20 minutes. It is easy working with these guys....just do your home work! Doug

Great Dealership - Great Customer Service

I love my new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. Bill Farris was our salesperson and he was great from beginning to end. He worked very hard for us to make sure we were happy, satisfied customers. Everyone in the dealership is very happy and friendly and they all have smiles on their faces. It's a clean and well-run dealership and they really know their cars down to the most minute features. I also worked with David Manotas, to help me with some questions on my navigation system and Martin in the service department who also helped me out over the phone, who were both great. Thank you Bill and everyone at Tustin Hyundai.
