LEMON OF A LEASE

Although given a rental free of charge, I did not feel I should have been expected to take the dodge van back. It has had three trips to the shop for service in the one year I have had the lease. First it was a driver's window that stopped working. It was stuck in the down position. Next it was a rusted part between the back tires which made it impossible to steer and finally, the last event was a broken back axle. Seriously, was this van in a flood zone or hurricane before making its way to St. Clair? I have been leasing from SC Chrysler for twenty years for the sole purpose of having a vehicle I can depend on. This lease has been a disaster. It has been in the shop more than any car I have OWNED and it is only a year old! I feel the company should have offered me another vehicle rather than sending me on my way, assuring me nothing else would go wrong. Again, seriously? Three strikes on this one already Chrysler. I felt my concerns were ignored; placated is more accurate. This infuriates me. Two of the situations caused by faulty parts could have killed someone had I been on the expressway. Yet, Chrysler sends me on my way with a lemon of a lease. If this is how I am treated, whether twenty years a costumer or one, I will have to seek out another dealership/car manufacturer when this lease ends. This was a no brainer. This vehicle failed and put a family (and others) in harms way, not once but twice. Three major issues with one lease in one year's time. Time for a replacement vehicle for duration of lease. I'm very disappointed.

Warranty work

Took my 2014 Durango since the A/C was not working. The replaced the condenser and also found that my steering gear was leaking. They fixed everything and always called on the progress. Very satisfied and will be taking my other vehicle to them for service.

Dodge Caliber - front & rear crossmember replace

I was extremely pleased with the entire repair process. Dave the service manager was excellent to work with. He answered all my questions and took the time to walk me through the entire process.

Charger recall

Called to schedule a recall matter. Part was not available. Was told they would call when the part came in. Six months later I called! They had plenty of parts. Would be nice if they disconnect the battery to do work to then reset clock.
