Don’t buy a car from this dealer! They will make promises and not keep them. They will charge you for extras that you don’t need. Chet is the worst person to work with and will ghost you when you ask for something he doesn’t want to do.

Rock bottom experience here. The sales dept over-sells everything and then the service dept cannot deliver. They blame the problems on employees who are no longer there but it obviously poor management. Recently I brought my 2017 Mazda (purchased at Coast Nissan in 2020) in for a routine service. When I bought my car at Coast Nissan, the sales guy sold me on a scam VIP package that included cleaning the car at every visit. DON'T be stupid like me and buy this. They do this for everyone and do a terrible job. Got my service done, including tire rotation. When I went to pick it up, car was running and the service guy said I might be having a battery problem. Car wasn't cleaned as promised (as usual) and I took the car home. It was leaking oil so I had to bring it back - they said the filter was defective so they fixed it. But it gets worse. My car started making weird noises - sounded like it was coming from the wheel but the tires had air. I took it to another mechanic because I have ZERO faith in Coast Nissan. The shop I took it to asked me if my tires were rotated recently. Yes, they were at Coast Nissan. ALL THE WHEELS WERE LOOSE because they only hand-tightened the screws. They didn't torque them down. Coast Nissan could have caused a huge car accident. The mechanic said I was so lucky I wasn't in an accident. He was shocked. Oh and my brakes were metal to metal. They had been squeaking and I asked Coast Nissan about that too and they said it wasn't a problem - they just sometimes do that. The incompetence is appalling and dangerous. I called and left a complaint and, of course, no one called me back. I'm sure the manager will comment here that customer service is very important to them but it is xx -- I tried to reach the manager -- everyone knew what bad service I received and he never bothered to call. They only care about sales. Terrible business.
