I have a 2019 Georgetown 378xl that has brake/engine problems. The repairs were contracted out to Jeff Smith Ford in Byron by MidState RV. This will... be the 3rd time that it have been taken to them for repairs. On the 2nd time to the shop we talked to and emailed Kristen the picture of the warning lights for the brakes and a video of have we were have to press the gas pedal to keep the coach going. Jeff Smith returned the coach saying that there was nothing wrong with it. We got the service manager at Mid State RV to go test ride with me riding it and the brake/engine acted up. So he got the service manager at Jeff Smith Ford Bryon to go with us on test ride and the brake/engine acted up again. The Warning lights came on and the engine lost power again. So once again Motor Coach is sitting waiting to be repaired. The thing is we emailed them pictures and videos of the problem on the 2nd trip to them, offered to come and test the unit also. They just do not seem to care if the rig is fixed or not.

They used no GREASE when they screwed me, by putting me upside down in this crummy little car. The sad thing is, the truck I wanted is the price im paying... for the car. The rebate I was suppose to get, they pocketed ans said I bought an extended warranty, which Doesnt even exist. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE, NOT EVEN AN ENEMY TO BUY OR LEASE FROM JEFF SMITH IN BYRON.

Drove 3hrs to look at a truck. Test drove it and liked it. Agreed on price with salesman and shook hands. Several minutes later was given a payment schedule... and I thought the monthly payment seemed too high. Come to find out they added $10,000 to the agreed upon price. Once I caught it, they conveniently said it was an accidental mistake. Really liked the truck so I went ahead and purchased it. Wasn’t told till I was walking out the door that the truck only had one key. Salesman said he would send me another one. More than 2 weeks later and they will not answer my calls or return my messages. Enter at your own risk….

Bought a car in March and already having problems.. but they can’t do anything about it even with an extended warranty. Never again will I go too Jeff... Smith Ford for anything. Only thing they wanted too do was for us too purchase another car. NO I wanted mine fixed. When we purchased car they didn’t clean it or anything. WE had too go too the car wash and do it ourselves and pay for it. NEVER will I recommend them too anyone. I would drive 500 miles too purchase another car just too not deal with the way Jeff Smith Ford handled the situation. I really don’t think Jeff Smith hisself would be happy about this situation.

I'm assuming the dealership purchased the vehicle I bought through a third party. The vehicle looked clean and drove well on initial test drive. I was... told it was a private party trade on an Expedition. I asked if it had been damaged or wrecked and was shown a clean Car Fax. When I got the vehicle home I parked it. Monday morning I had an employee start to install some trailer and two-way radio wiring. He came in complaining about dirt and mud in the harnesses. I went under the truck and it was packed with silt or mud. We had to pull the kick panels and scuff or threshold plates off to run wires. The wire harnesses and channels were full of silt. This prompted us to look further, the truck clearly had been under water at least up to glove box level. All of the readily visible areas were clear and mostly clean, but hidden areas or not so easily accessible areas were covered in silt. The truck did not want to go in four wheel drive, and there was silt under the boot. There was silt in the kick panels and under the carpet and dash. The back power point was full of silt. They took the truck back and returned my trade, but dealers and the public need to be very careful about flood damaged vehicles. I am posting this to warn people to have vehicles looked at carefully. A clean Car Fax does NOT mean the vehicle has not had a major problem. It is possible to clean up a vehicle and push it along through the market chain without a bad Car Fax. The dealer was good with me, they returned my trade and cancelled the sale and apologized. I sincerely believe, other than the fib about where the vehicle came from, they were unaware it was a flood car. This deal cost me a day or two of work, but it could have cost me many thousands of dollars. Do not depend on salesmen or dealerships to know or tell you where a vehicle really came from, or for them to verify the vehicle is good. I have no animosity toward the dealership, but this is sure a life lesson for me and others.

My salesman Jeff Woodard was a top notch guy he didn't act like a salesman he acted like a friend. He did not pressure me into anything unlike most every... other salesman in the country. I called him told him what I wanted he found it and had the vehicle their the next day and I wanted some aftermarket accessories on it and he did his job and got them put on the same day because I was in a hurry and needed to get back home 4 hrs away. Best dealership and salesmen in the world
