I needed an inexpensive used truck option to replace my Tacoma that went to my son-in-law. Trent and Hugo not only had the right truck at the right price (2004 Tundra), but worked with the service manager to take care of a few essentials to give me a safe and reliable vehicle. I hesitate to mention all of the things they did for us at a great price. And on top of that, they even delivered the updated truck to our residence on the Oklahoma side of Fort Smith (Jacob was superb). We've had two excellent experiences with McLarty in the recent past. I'm sure we'll have more in the future.

Thank you for choosing McLarty Daniel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM FIAT Springdale and for sharing your experience! We’re happy to hear everything went smoothly with your purchases. Safe travels to you and your family!
Chris, great job.
Chris, great job. Answered all my questions and very close to closing the deal on a vehicle...had my checkbook ready. Unfortunately, some little guy (Kelly, Kenny, Zack?), a manager of some sort got involved and was more concerned with his financing kick-back rather than servicing the customer. Their financing rates were not remotely competive with financing rates that could be found elsewhere. I've dealt with other dealerships in the area that have been in business longer than I've been alive (Lewis) and this is not how they do business.

Thank you for your feedback. While I'm glad you had a positive interaction with Chris, it's concerning to hear about your overall sales process. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch service and competitive rates, so this is disappointing to read. If you're open to discussing this further, I would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened during your visit. Please don't hesitate to contact me so that we can make things right. Thank you, Alexyss Chambers - Customer Relations Manager - (479) 347-7884
*THIS DEALERSHIP DESERVES A "0" RATING* - Vehicle
*THIS DEALERSHIP DESERVES A "0" RATING* - Vehicle purchased out of state a few months ago, I live in Ohio. This dealership convinced me to never buy a vehicle online again. Communication was poor to non-existent at times, with promises of call backs that took days. When truck finally arrived, there were multiple issues with it. First the paperwork I signed showed only 3 miles on it - when it arrived it had over 240. Second it was filthy inside and last it was missing the tonneau cover. This is the first time I experienced a brand-new truck that had smudges on the windows, dirt everywhere, piece of food under the back seat, and dog hairs throughout. The excuse I was given was the transport came too early to detail, interesting since there were multiple days from the deposit to delivery. After about a month with multiple texts, calls, no resolutions and requests to speak with the GM, I reached out to the owner of the dealership. He called back and informed me he was not the owner anymore but would contact the new owner Derek and have him call me. It was shortly after that Derek the GM/Owner called me back. He told me the truck was used by his wife, and she might have taken the dog in it. He then chuckled and said if it was one of his employees he would fire them, but I can't fire my wife. When it came to the missing tonneau cover, the first excuse I heard from the Rep was "it blew off in transit" and then from the GM "it was stolen from the truck" either way it was supposed to be on the truck. They ordered one from a dealer near me, I paid for the installation $308.00 (the dealership overcharged me) but the GM refused to reimburse me for the installation claiming he should not be responsible if another dealership overcharges me. This is contrary to what my sales rep told me, that I should not be responsible for the installation. So, I am out $308 to have a tonneau cover installed, which was included and already paid for with the purchase of the truck. In conclusion - they sent me a check for $150 to go towards new mats, and the GM said he would pay to have inside detailed but said it should only cost around $100. I spent 6 hours detailing the inside myself, yeah it was that bad. Halfhearted apologies, lots of excuses, poor communication, and poor customer service - that is my takeaway from this dealership. * I spoke with multiple people at this dealership and Alexyss was the only one that kept her word. When she said she would call me right back she did. Thank you Alexyss.*

NEW & USED Buyers BEWARE I should have listened to
NEW & USED Buyers BEWARE I should have listened to reviews/ and instincts. My family and I were desperate to get myself a new vehicle after my reliable Prius completely broke down. I wanted a small used truck and I trusted this Dealership with my business for a truck that looked great on the exterior. Which may have been the biggest mistake of my life. The day I went in to test drive, the vehicle was so dirty and disgusting in the interior. My wife and I could not believe the dealership could claim such a mess “clean” If I posted pictures of which, I know no body would have ever believed it! That was our first problem. The second problem was when I was leaving the dealership the first day to think it over, I saw which may have been an Employee or even Dealership manager driving a Dealer lot truck very erratically right beside me as they closed shop and left for the day. Yet again, desperate to get wheels to get me moving I ignored the red flags! So I bought the truck, still disgusted with the detail job they left me to do. I was happy, but, not for long. On the way home, same day I purchased the truck, I heard a squeal from the serpentine belt and a check engine light came on for a fuel cap sensor. That is also when I noticed I had no heat coming from the fan. So I took the truck the next day and they claimed the check engine was nothing major and wiped the code and also claimed the heater got back to running. When I picked it up from service after owning it just one day, I checked the to see if the heater worked at the dealership and it did not. How could someone be so neglectful? I’ll tell you how. They claimed the truck had passed a 150 point inspection and they broke my trust after realizing they wanted that truck sold and the responsibility of fixing it passed on to someone so vulnerable like myself. I took the truck home, mistake after mistake on my part. They scheduled my tuck for a service check and found out there were bad engine, heating, and exhaust components. I thought I was lucky and going to be helped for also purchasing their over priced/ up charged basic warranty. That’s where the warranty failed me and told me they were only going to cover 400$ of a 3,500$ repair charge total. After 1 Month of back and forth with the warranty and the dealer, I could only assume the dealer knew of all these problems but still chose to wrongfully list the truck for sale. Nothing was ever disclosed to me as far as any issues with the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle 11/04/ 25 and as of now 12/20/25 they have not laid a single wrench to fix it as they are “searching for options to help me” Although I appreciate the effort it seems they are putting in solving this issue, it has been over a month that the vehicle has stayed in the dealer repair shop. My patience has run thin and I am not as happy with the dealership as I was when I first walked through their doors. I need this resolved ASAP and will be telling my neighbors about the shadyness theym try to hide with handshakes and smiles.

I'm truly sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced, and I understand how frustrating this must be. We pride ourselves on providing quality vehicles and service, so your feedback is concerning. We try to keep as many inexpensive vehicles as we can to keep up with customer demands when tough credit and tight budgets come into play like is has for you. But it gets tough sometimes when vehicles that are up to 10 years old and over 100k miles that pass the inspection may be more prone to have issues that pop up soon after the purchase, but we understand that can be frustrating! We were working with the warranty company to get items approved/covered, and my sales Manager updated me that we agreed to help trade you out of the vehicle as well if that would be faster or put you in a better position. But, as discussed, the vehicle needs to be registered/titled to be legally traded. And I had already addressed your speculation of: " I saw which may have been an Employee or even Dealership manager driving a Dealer lot truck very erratically right beside me as they closed shop and left for the day." That was a customer in a loaner vehicle, NOT one of my Employees. That is not relevant to anything relating to trying to get you taken care of. I removed the customer from that vehicle. And there was an agreement to remove/update these reviews for accuracy since WE ARE trying to explore multiple options to help you. Derek Hill - General Manager
