I am extremely frustrated with my vehicle purchase through GA World Auto. The company does not follow up, does not follow through and honestly says enough... to get you out the door and off the phone. The staff is extremely helpful and speedy to getting you out for test driving, paperwork and purchase. However, if you are in need to discuss anything further its always a hassle and a struggle. Let me share my experience. Mid July of 2019, I purchased a Benz C300 which I daily regret... Since having this vehicle two tires needed to be replaced (in that time we found a cracked rim), windshield wipers replacement, front and rear brakes and now an entire power steering pump, xxxxx and bearings for my steering wheel. I've had the car less than 3 months and have spent more in repairs than the car not itself. I understand If the cars are certified like they say maybe I am just unaware of what this checklist is to have a vehicle pass a certified inspection. Once I found out about my fuel pump I called GA World Auto for assistance with repairs. Initially I was told they would insert the new pump IF i ordered the part and purchased it myself. I have now ordered the part which I was totally okay with however once I called back again to set up a day to tow my vehicle to the company...the option had changed and they are no longer able to place the part in my vehicle because their sales manager was quitting. They didn't even offer an option to insert the part if I paid them. Firstly, I've gotten the run around from many of the employees from day one. I never received my CarFax Report. The day I bought the car the guy helping me with finalizing paperwork couldn't even explain all the documents and what they meant for the buyer. I also heard a conversation via phone from two employees not realizing that I was still on the line. The conversation was very inappropriate and basically the guy was telling the other employee that this was their mess and their sale so they needed to "deal with me". I DO NOT, I REPEAT - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!! Unless you are interested in having a car note and auto repair note frequently. P.S. Went to pick up my car after the first issue with my brakes and went on the premises to find the entire leasing trailer unlocked with tons of peoples info and paperwork just hanging. There was no employees in sight or on the lot. However I waited about 10 mins and two employees came back to the lot. If i was a crook I would've had people personal info, etc. Just not a trustworthy company. Very shady. Very unprofessional. DO NOT GIVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. PLEASE!
I would like to start off by thanking mr. Victor Harris. I was interested in a vehicle and got in contact with the dealership and all seemed well, victor... calls me the day before double checking to make sure I'm still coming out. I've now changed my whole schedule around to make the 2 1/2 hour drive( I work night shift and had to leave by 8 am. Only 2 hrs of sleep now). I get there and I see the car, start checking it out until someone comes out. Victor comes out and tells me someone is inside in the process of buying the car I just drove out to pick up. Pretty mad at this point, I shook his hand and left. This was very unprofessional, a waste of my gas and time. He never once mentioned a potential customer or ask for deposit to hold the car until I was there and they were signing on the line. He mentioned they were there that morning so he could have at the very least given me a phone call to let me know so I didnt have to waste so much time. Time. -Chris
I’m very pleased with the customer service and knowledge of the employees. Victoria was really nice and went out of her way to help. I would recommend... this place to anyone.
Called into ask about a vehicle and was treated like* How I dare call and offer any less than what is asked.* Rodney Robby Idk his name kept making me... repeat myself until I realized he was only doing that to make fun of what I had offered. We worked hard for our Little 12,000 cash sorry that wasn't even in the ballpark. Any decent salesman would say I appreciate your offer but we can not take any less than 15,000 . Instead of asking me over and over where im getting the rest of the money. You are ruuuuddde. And I feel real sorry for you.
From the start it was a little rocky. They say they open at 9am we arrived at 9:10am and walked around the lot until roughly 10:15am when the first employee... actually showed up. We have put a $200 deposit on an 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ lifted and told them we would be there Saturday morning, when she arrives she goes and gets the key, well it was the wrong key. Okay now we have the correct key go to start the vehicle and IT DOESN'T START! Now were told, "oh it just needs gas"...okay. Get gas in it and it still takes a bit to get the vehicle started. We get out to test drive and everything seems well no death wobble, no check engine light its GREAT! We get to the paperwork, where there was another salesman and I believe the finance manager in the building, however during my entire paperwork process she was the only one answering the phone and distracting herself from the customer in front of her? Could they not answer the phone seeing as you were signing with a customer? We get all the paperwork signed they give us $15 for gas and we head on our way. About 15 miles down the road we receive a call that the "mechanic" has left parts to a Hummer in our vehicle and they NEED them now. Well we live in Athens this is Marietta we had plans directly after the purchase I can not just turn around because of the mechanics error and it came off sightly aggressive and unapologetic considering this was your employees error not mine. We go to merge onto the highway and hit about 30mph and have the most severe death wobble I have ever felt(I have owned a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK lifted) I know they death wobble but this was all in all another story. So we limp back to Athens at 30mph clutching the "oh xxxx handles" the whole ride. Than to our surprise about 10 minutes out from home...the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT comes on! Oh fantastic! We run the codes its the; catalytic converter and evap leak. The vehicle is now not starting every time. You turn the key and it takes about 3 time for the engine to fire up. Making us believe it needs a new fuel pump. We call the office to voice these concerns and Victoria said she will be in touch with the manager/owner and give us a call right back. We get no call back so we call again speak to a male salesman fill him in and he said he'd check on the progress and let us know. Nothing back, so now I am writing this review. While we were there Victoria was very kind I have no faults with that. I believe she is a god person but I don't believe in the value of your "mechanics" if someone looked this Jeep over they should have seen those codes just as easily as I did but instead of doing the right thing the Honorable thing you cleared the codes got the emissions done and sold it knowing the problem would be back. I am overall happy because I got the vehicle I had been looking for at a price I could afford. I am aware this is a used dealership and we have a lifted vehicle so I knew there was risks. Just wanted to give other viewers an overview of what I endured. So if you go in knowing you will have some work to do when you drive off the lot than go for it! If you want a car you can simply drive home and not worry about, from my experience this is not the place. I hope this helps some of you. I have only had this Jeep for a week and so far need to replace the fuel pump, evap leak, catalytic converter, wheel alignment and bring it in to see what could cause this kind of severe death wobble. UPDATE: The Jeep also needs a starter and ignition. We have still NOT heard back from anyone and they seem to be avoiding us. I am so disappointed and you can bet I have told everyone I know to avoid shopping here. Thank you for not reaching out or trying to fix the issue.
Although we were initially a little bit wary of purchasing a vehicle from a used car dealer, my husband and I were very pleased with Georgia Auto World... in Marietta. We believe we got a good deal on our vehicle, and everyone was enjoyable to work with including our salesperson, Oliver. We found them to be people of integrity, and we are very pleased with our purchase and the overall buying experience.
We went there to look at a 2012 Honda Pilot with a "clean carfax". The ENTIRE driver's side had obviously been painted ( you could see where the paint... lifted as the pulled the tape) and the passenger seat belt on the driver's side had been CUT. Front tires were bald, and were unsafe even for a test drive. We have no idea what else could have been wrong, and didn't want to find out.
After driving around the Atlanta metro area shopping for a GX470 I ended up at Georgia Auto World. I worked with David and drove the two models they had.... The cars were both detailed inside and out. Once I made my decision to buy, David was great to work with through the buying process. I recommend both Georgia Auto World and David.
Promised to get key/alarm fob or replace it. I went to Local Dealership and priced replacement and sent to Salesman. Never responded and stopped all communications.... Very not satisfied. We hope to win the $100 to offset the additional charges for key replacement. Car alarm goes off every time door is unlocked!!!
Victoria was very nice! We drove 4 hours to test drive our car and she stayed after and waited for us to get there. Then showed us all the features on... the car and allowed us to test drive. The vehicle was nice and very clean.
