I strongly recommend avoiding Stout Auto Sales when considering your next vehicle purchase. Their cars may look flawless from the outside, but my own experience tells a different story. Six months back, I bought an F-150 for my business from Stout Auto Sales. Initially, it ran smoothly. But not long after, I started noticing transmission problems. These issues, which I initially thought were minor, turned out to be major. After consulting a transmission specialist, I was informed that the truck needed a complete overhaul, costing $5000 – a staggering third of the vehicle's total price. When I reached out to Stout Auto Sales, a woman acknowledged the severity of my situation and assured me that the owner would call me back. This return call never happened. Disappointed, I had to call again the next day. My conversation with the owner was disheartening. I calmly and politely asked if there was any way he could help make the situation right, given that a transmission shouldn't require rebuilding just months after purchase. His response was shockingly dismissive. , he cut me off mid-sentence and said, "I'm not going to make it right," and then hung up on me. This interaction was a glaring example of a lack of business integrity and customer service. It's appalling how a business can be so indifferent to a customer's legitimate grievances, especially considering the significant financial burden imposed on me. I want to make it clear that my intention here is not to slander or personally attack Stout Auto Sales. My aim is to inform the public about their business practices. You might purchase a perfectly functioning car from them, but be aware – if something goes wrong, don't expect accountability or integrity from their side. They might just hang up on you, as they did with me. As a part of this community, I feel obligated to warn others. Stout Auto Sales demonstrated a troubling lack of concern after my purchase. Regardless of what problem arises, their approach seems to be avoidance and denial of responsibility. I've noticed in other reviews that the owner tends to respond with false claims. I deeply regret not paying attention to these warnings earlier. If I had, I might have avoided this predicament. Now, with the little free time I have, I'm sharing my story in hopes of sparing others from making a costly mistake with this disreputable business. Please consider this a sincere advisory from a fellow community member.

Mark and Shawn were awesome 10/10 will be driving another 1.5hour to buy another car from them. Keep up the good work guys. Friendly and went above and beyond to get us setup and gave all the records they did and had for our truck purchase.

Car looked great... tested out nice but within a week over $5000 cost in transmission problems; so I would suggest buying a newer vehicle with less than a 100000 miles or get at least a 30 day warranty

We finally upgraded our truck and Stout Sales made it the easiest process ever. The whole crew was super friendly and went above and beyond. The truck was missing a 2nd key and floor mats. They promised to get us both and they showed up directly to our house in less then a week. Would highly recommend them for your vehicle purchases!

I am extremely impressed by my purchase at stout auto sales. I went in with an abhorrence to used car dealers and their sales people. To my surprise I came across a couple of decent and honest all American guys (Shawn and Mark) who only want to serve other with the golden rule in mind I’m sure. I am very happy with my purchase and I not only would purchase again from them but also would highly recommend friends and family to them Thanks guys John

This dealership is not like your typical dealership. There was none of the usual high pressure sales tactics I have experienced at other places. We bought a nice used vehicle for my son’s first car. They handed us the keys and let us look at it by ourselves. We ended up buying it. Brought it home on Saturday. Monday morning I received a call from the dealer. They had ordered 4 new tires for the car. We had no clue when we bought it. They drove to us, picked up the car, had the tires installed and brought it back. They could have easily not told us about the new tires. Very honest dealer that I highly recommend. Will buy from them again if looking for a used vehicle.

I just purchased a 2012 kia forte from this dealership. I never heard of them before but found them online. The car was in great shape and Shawn was excellent to work with. He treated me like I was a regular at this business. Didn't feel pressure to buy and he even topped off the car with gas after purchasing even though it was at half a tank. Will definitely buy from them again.

Recently purchased a beautiful 2005 Dodge 2500 from Stout Sales. Best price around. Shawn was easy to work with made the buying process seemless. I look forward to working with him again on me next purchase!
