Ashland Auto Did it again!!!!
I brought a 2005 Honda Element it is the 3rd car I have brought from Ashland. The customer service, the quality of the cars are amazing. They are always helpful, good atmosphere just all around a great place. If you are like me and don’t want a car payment, but want a car like new this is the place to go you won’t be disappointed…. Great independent used dealer!
Looked for a affordable Prius for months and most were worn out or overpriced. Found the perfect cream puff car dealing with Mel. He's very humble, honest and believes in karma. He does good to his customers so the word gets out and they'll come back. I'll be back.

Good car, low fees
Very polite and pleasant salesperson. We purchased a Nissan Rogue at a fair price and have been happy with the car. They did not add a lot of fees and add ons like other dealerships

The break, "fix", break, repeat plan? No, thanks.
I am concerned that the IDs that are copied for test drives could be used for identity theft. When I wouldn't give a 5-star review before doing any deal, I was accused of prejudice. Gee, I hope the vehicle title is OK. Read other reviews. Instead of buying the vehicle and NEVER RETURNING, I agreed to come back for horn and hood latch/cable assembly. BOTH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR SAFETY. When I returned with vehicle, not only was it not repaired, but also their pounding damaged both the hood and radiator. The hood was noted right away, radiator fluid smell was noted on drive home, and the hood could not be opened for inspection. Fluid under vehicle. Radiator was cracked at top, under latch and hood damage. How many unknowing people have kept driving, resulting in serious damage and possible personal injury because of business plan? When I declined to come back for, you know, "fixing", I was accused of hating. From other reviews, read a horrifying history.

Best used dealership I have dealt with in the last 20 years! They worked with me on either purchase price or performing repairs. I found them to be fair and Honest. I drove 2 hrs from St Louis to see a vehicle. I called ahead, they had it ready to go and didn't rush the test drive. It was worth the 2hr one way drive and did not feel my time was wasted. Was treated very well! I ended up purchasing the vehicle. I will check them out first on my next vehicle purchase. Highly recommended!!!!!

Very bad experience
I was going to purchase a 2013 ford focus from them for $7100. I took the vehicle to jefferson city to Joe Machens to have it checked just to be sure. They indicated the car was fine except for an airbag light being on. I returned with the car to the dealership where we agreed they'd replace the sensor which was missing on the airbag and I'd, then, buy the car. The next day, I called back. They informed me they had sold the vehicle to someone else. I was beyond angry. I spent $105 to have it checked at Joe Machens. For $200 more, they sold me out. Needless to say, I'll never do business there again.
