Thieves!!

This dealership bargains in bad faith. The "2 inspections" obviously are not done in reality and when a fault is found, your deposit is kept. Typical gotcha business practices from the junior sales manager, who is smug, uniformed and childish. Avoid this dump.

Dealer response

We apologize you feel this way, sir. We always do 2 inspections on every vehicle before putting it on the market. You signed and agreed to a non-refundable deposit and signed the non-refundable form. You took the vehicle to a mechanic and the invoice you brought back only stated a $75 inspection. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle. If the vehicle had any major issues, we would’ve fixed them for you. Have a nice day, sir.

Informative, caring salespeople without the games

Hunter was a caring, informative salesman, while Cody was a professional, straightforward and fair negotiator. I did not feel like I was being pressured or manipulated like I have at other car lots. It was very comfortable and I would highly recommend them.

DO NOT TRUST THEM! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Drove over 2 hrs to purchase car. Only 2 people work there I spoke with both of them and they both knew we were driving over 2 hrs. Touched base with them halfway there to let them know exactly what time we would be there. When we got there they asked if they could help us and I said yes we are here to get the 07 Camry right there and he informed me the car was sold although it was sitting right there. Said he text to tell me and yes he did exactly 5 minutes before arrival. Both salesmen had my phone number and did not have the common decency to even call and give me an opportunity to make a deposit or whatever was needed to hold car. Never mentioned a deposit to me at all. I dont buy cars everyday and sure dont sell them but if I did and someone was driving over 2 hrs and someone else comes after and shows interest I would at least have enough common sense to call the one who was on the way and tell them what they needed to do to ensure they could get the car. Not only common sense but common decency! And if someone showed interest 2 weeks before it doesnt matter I was on the way to get the car and you knew it. Why didnt they buy it 2 weeks ago? There is no excuse for what you did. We work hard for our money and dont have much time to spare and wasted both!

Great experience

Great people, good selection, good deal! Would recommend to friends and others shopping for vehicles! Staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the vehicle history and about the make.

Objective experience

We came to this dealership because we heard it was honest and the cars were reliable. There are positive reviews online. We came in looked around and test drove a 2009 Honda Civic hybrid. The car seemed to have unusually weak acceleration and power. We informed John of the issue. After more looking he offered us a 2010 Dodge Charger for 5995. We test drove and looked it over very well. Everything seemed great. We were reassured about the vehicle and informed that the owners son had been driving it. Financing was handled through lendmark. We went there to finish the process. After we began the paperwork we discovered that they were charging 7995 for the car. We called and John said it was a mistake and immediately faxed over new paperwork. John assured us that they were not those kinds of people. We finished up the paperwork and proceeded to go pickup the car. The next day my wife took the car to work and the car completely shut off on her in the middle of an intersection. It would not start and had a loud knock when you attempted to. We had it towed. We contacted John and informed him that the vehicle had broken down without driving it more than 20 miles. He was nice and apologetic. He had it towed to a shop they use. They paid. After about a week we got a call to pick up the car. They said they paid 500$ to replace the fuel pump. We were happy and grateful. After picking up the car we realized there was a loud hum outside the car and the fuel gauge was giving bad readings. There was also a smell of fuel inside the vehicle at times and a rough idle. We informed John and he said to take it back to the shop. After a few days I called to check on it. They informed us that they had taken the car “out for lunch” the day I brought it in and had broken down and that they had put the wrong fuel pump in it. After around another week we called and were told the car was done and “they called and left a message but it must have been to the wrong number”. When we picked up the vehicle an older man told us that they had put a defective fuel pump in the vehicle and they ran out of gas when they took it out. He implied that we didn’t put enough gas in the vehicle. We took the vehicle home and all was well for about 3 days. An engine light came on. It showed codes for the catalytic converters and o2 sensors. I called a shop and was quoted 1400$ for repairs. I called 5 star and told them. John told me that he would get with the owner and get back to us. They never got back to us. The vehicle started going through gasoline unusually fast. (20$ a day without much travel). We attempted to call throughout the following week and never got an answer. We also needed our tags so we finally just went there. John was again nice. He gave us our tags and said that he would call the owner about the vehicles problems and he said they have been busy because the owner had been out experiencing personal issues. After he spoke with the owner he said that the issue was not dire. He referred us to someone who could fix the issue cheap and said it wasn’t a big deal. We were happy. The next day It shut off while going down the road again. I immediately called and john tried to troubleshoot the vehicle with me. He asked me to put some gas in it to make sure the fuel gauge was reading properly. I did and the vehicle started but before adding fuel the gauge displayed more than 1/4 tank. We took the car straight home. We called John, I told him that we were done with the car and that it had cost us money and caused us problems with work and in our personal life. He was nice and said he was in front of the owner Cameron and they were going to talk about it and call me right back. We never heard from them after that. I called the financing company and they did not care. They said they never had any issues with them. They said they would take the car and auction it and that we would be responsible for the remaining balance. They said it would destroy our credit if we did

Very honest

My fiance & I went there to check out a Toyota 4Runner that they had listed online. It ended up having more wrong with it than I wanted to deal with. John & Cameron were both totally honest about what all was wrong with it. They ended up giving us a good deal on a Rav4 that was in really good shape & that we're totally happy with. They're very straight up & down to earth, not at all like your typical "salesmen". All used car dealers should learn from these guys! We would definitely do business with them again & would highly recommend them to anyone. They really are FIVE STAR!
