    I found a good car for a good price on a Saturday night and was happy to see they’re open Sundays. I sent and inquiry and was informed the car was available.... I also sent an email asking them to call me in the morning. Next morning I’m on my way and they called and we told them we were on our way. Stacey told us when to be there and who to ask for. We drove for two hours in traffic and pouring rain, and when we got there one of the people we were told to ask for wasn’t there (I guess), so Stacey said she could help us. She then spent time “looking for the keys” then told us the car was “in detailing” and that it would be there tomorrow (Monday). I walked out, but not before I saw the sales manager, Phil, watching tv in the lounge. I said “Are you kidding me?”, and he said “I wish I weren’t.” I told him we had traveled two hours, and as I was walking away he muttered “What am I supposed to do?” Not so much as an apology ever crossed his lips. I looked at the website when I got home and the car was no longer listed. Something shady is going on, so don’t waste your time here. They aren’t interested in your time, convenience, or apparently your money.

    Dear Dennis, I'm so sorry the Toyota Prius you wanted to see was not available for viewing. I saw your lead was sent in on Saturday night after 9 pm.... We open at 11 am on Sundays. I see a member of my team called you, spoke to your wife, and your wife said you were both in the car on the way to see the car. This was at about 10:30 am on Sunday. We should have verified availability before we called you. We failed. We should have seen your appointment in our software and confirmed your appointment/availability of the vehicle. We failed. We were having the vehicle professionally detailed at an offsite location. The vehicle was picked up a day prior and we could not reach the owner of the detail center. We could have handled this call and the communication with you MUCH better. I'm sorry we failed. In our excitement to sell this vehicle, we allowed it to be placed on our web site prior to having it ready for sale. If you are willing, I'd still like to help.     I recently headed to the shop because I had a low tire pressure light. Figured I’d better have them look at the tires, as they weren’t showing low pressure.... Turns out they needed to be recalibrated. They took care of me so quickly. Leon, Pedro, and the service staff at East Hills Subaru are terrific and honest about the work that needs to be done. I’ve heard bad stories about other Subaru dealers on LI. This one is terrific! They treat me and my car like they would a member of their family.
