Very strong, good quality truck for fair price. Bought my 2003 Tacoma approx. 4 months ago( Feb. 2017), specially don't write review in the same day, wait... how it will work for me. Past 4 months already and my truck is like new( I use my truck very heavy, working in construction). No lights comes out, no problems at all. This dealership is amazing. Very fair prices and very strong, good quality trucks. Those people don't need even ad. My friend purchased truck from them and recommended this place to me. I purchased truck from them and recommend this place to my brother. Very happy with my purchase. If you need a good, strong truck without any problem for a fair price go to them, they have many trucks to choose from. Thanks from Tim and Michelle.
I purchased a 2004 Toyota Tacoma from Carmall Auto on April 27th 2017. On April 28th the check engine light came on throwing a code "catalyst system efficiency... below threshhold."I contacted the own/seller right away and he told me to clear the code, it could be an error. I got a second opinion on the code and it was diagnosed as a catlytic converter problem, an expensive fix. The owner/seller told me to pick up an 02 sensor at autozone, however, I was expected to pay for it. He wanted me to come in, and he would install it. He told me he did not have to fix the issue. However I live 1.5 hours away and going back and forth to find the issue was not possible. I offered to pick up the parts and he would install them, he declined my offer. And would not install the parts for free, even though I had the vehicle for less than 24 hours. I ended up taking the vehicle in for a a third diagnoses while I was receiving an oil change and the news was even more grim. Seller did not disclose a past code on the vehicle, and it was evident I needed to replace the whole system. Over $2500 in just parts. I purchased a vehicle to commute in, not take back and forth to a shop. I would be happy to provide any additional information as needed, to anybody.
I drove up from Catskill to look at a Prius here I'd found advertised online. It was definitely a drive, but the cars on this lot are worth it. I was... looking at Prius after being given an older one recently by family (it was totaled by a falling tree!) and discovering how insanely cheap they are to drive. The Prius I saw at Gene's is the one I came closest to buying--the price was extremely fair and the car was absolutely mint. (Dealers who expect customers to drive cars that haven't even been cleaned out from former owners--seriously?!) It drove more smoothly and solidly than virtually all of the other half-dozen Priuses I test drove, even some with substantially fewer miles. I had every confidence the car would keep going for many years, as Priuses are known to. That's not a feeling you get from many used cars. I noticed Gene also had a number of gorgeous Toyota trucks on his lot--he specializes in Toyotas for their reliability, he told me. If I need a pickup, I'll be back! Gene was also totally straightforward about his financing terms, which I seriously appreciated, and suggested financing from a local credit union for a more attractive interest rate, which I hadn't considered. You don't always find that honesty, as I discovered at dealerships throughout the Hudson Valley corridor--from Gene's place all the way down to the Bronx--over the past couple of weeks. It pains me a bit to say it, but in the end I decided to go back to my first love, the Impreza, when I found an unbeatable deal on one elsewhere--I owned Imprezas for a decade before my brief foray into Prius ownership and it's just my all-time fav. Again, though, the cars and trucks on this lot were gorgeous--solid, absolutely mint--and well worth the drive. I seriously recommend working with Gene!
I have bad credit and he never once treated me any different! Hes working very hard to get me approved for the car that O want! He came in on his day off... to meet with us! The only dealership i have fount that has gotten me approved without a cosigner and has a great selection of nice clean mint condition cars! I would reccomend this dealer to ANYONE! Especially the people like me who everyone else says no, while he is doing everything he can for me! Thanks so much!
