    Have replaced muffler, rusty transmission lines, rusted out radiator. Repair shop said brake lines are nearly rusted out. Dealer knew of rust problem,... tried to cover up with under coating. I am guilty of not being more attentive when purchasing the vehicle. Trusted the Car Fax report, will not do this again. Toyota Motor Company has had to recall many trucks for rusted out frames but 4 Runners are not yet included. This dealer should have known about rust problems with this 4 Runner. His response was that it passed inspection. "Not his problem". Stupid me for trusting Car Fax, Toyota and any used car salesmen.

    Mark, nice to hear from you again. We haven't had an opportunity to speak since you purchased your 4Runner nearly a year ago back on 11/28/2017. ...I do remember our conversation when you called in after you made your purchase. Can you believe that? A dealer that remembers customers from a year past, not something you find everyday I admit. You had some concerns about the rust on the truck then. In no way did I deny that a 100,000 mile 11 year old vehicle may have some rust, in fact, I told you at that time we undercoated it. Maybe you have forgotten about that, it has been awhile after all. If you remember I told you that the undercoat that we use has a retardant in it that would help slow down the oxidation process but in no way would it stop it completely. There are also things that, due to the very nature of their operation, simply cannot be sprayed, the exhaust, radiator and transmission lines to name a few. You are correct in the fact that I stated that the 4Runner did pass not only NC State Inspection at the time that you purchased it but VA State Inspection as well as that is the state where you registered the 4Runner. Unfortunately the only thing that I can attest to on a used vehicle when I sell one is it's current condition. I have no control over what may or may not wear or continue to deteriorate over time. Rest assured we made no attempt to hide anything from you last November when you bought your 4Runner, just the opposite. In fact after we spoke in December 2017 you left me a positive 4 star review on my buymidway.com website. I did go back and look at your account and see that you had the good foresight to purchase an Extended Service Contract, I can only assume that you have contacted them to see if they would cover any of the needed repairs?     After searching for a used car and dealing with the "Big Boy Stores" for a few days I came across midway. What a difference it made in my shopping experience.... My wife and I were instantly greeted by a warm and welcoming lady named Elizabeth. She instantly made us feel welcomed and wasn't that normal "annoying" salesperson. She answered all my questions and I could tell she had completed all the required homework. The vehicle was listed at a more than reasonable price and the customer service was outstanding. Who would have thought I could buy a car just down the road from my house with no hassle what so ever AND have an awesome salesperson on top of it all. Note to self, never stray to the big city car lots again because you think they can give you a better deal and customer service!!!!!! Thanks sooooooo much Elizabeth.................

    Bought a 2010 Dodge Journey RT on 08/30/2017 and could not be happier right now. We were in and out in just over an hour and that was with a test drive.... I do have a couple of items that need taken care of, so will rate the Quality of Repairs when these are taken care of.

    I was in search of an affordable used vehicle. and a friend recommended Midway Auto . When I arrived I was immediately approached by Elizabeth and we began... the process . We discussed what I was looking for including the monthly payment that I wanted. Unfortunately, on that particular day which happened to be a Friday there was not a vehicle on the lot to match me with. On Saturday morning I received a call from Elizabeth informing me that she just took a trade in that she felt would be perfect for me. She explained to me that their process was to service & clean all trade ins. On Monday I received another call from Elizabeth to inform me that the car would be ready for me to come test drive Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon I went and test drive the vehicle and completely fell in love with it. Within roughly 2 hours the entire process including the credit process I was the proud owner of my 2008 Toyota Yaris. This was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle.

    I was looking for a Ram ProMaster to add to my fleet of work vehicles and found one online at Midway for a fantastic price, unfortunately I missed it by... just a couple of hours.... they assured me they would look for another and let me know, it wasnt even 2 days later, they found exactly what I was looking for, low miles and an exceptional value. They were friendly and courteous and accomodated everything I needed. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family and am fortunate enough to be expanding again soon, so will shop there for my next vehicle!!!

    Buying a used car has always come with some apprehension for me. Just think of the common fears of used car lots; the feeling is that either the dealer... is dishonest or the car is for sale because there is something wrong with it. 2 years after my first purchase from Midway and I can honestly say that is not them. I came to Midway looking to buy a car for my wife, a new beetle. It was a surprise gift for my wife. The salesman at Midway seemed to share in my excitement in giving my wife her dream car. My excitement was kept alive by the ease of the transaction and the level of customer service I encountered from each employee/department. Two years later and my wife's car has been great and reliable. With that in mind it was time to retire my car and so I went to Midway to replace it. This experience was equally as satisfying as the first. In two years their service is still top notch. After my second purchase with Midway I had a thought as to why Midway breaks out of the user car dealership stereotype. It's obvious they care more about their reputation by putting you in a trustworthy vehicle more than closing a sale. They seem to be selective about the kind of cars they have on their lot. It might be a long time before we are in need of another vehicle, but if we do you can be sure we will be using Midway again.

    Buying from midway is about as easy as it gets! I've purchased 4 cars from them over the years and it's been a great experience every time. It's not close... to where I live, but it's well worth the drive for an honest deal where everyone is happy! It's the only place I buy cars now!
