Recalls and Oil change services

Brought my vehicle in for multiple recall services and not one of the 3 recalls were fix. Service member said had to order service parts for recalls, been almost two week and haven't received a call back to verify status of recall parts. Had a oil change done but service members did not reset my oil life. Very dissatisfied, maybe next time it might be better. Would recommend a friend to this dealer to buy a car, but services maybe not, service department needs to be more prepared on all recalls on vehicles and maintenance should have a check list when changing oil on vehicles because most vehicle now have to reset oil life after a oil change. Easy Task, maybe they just forgot. Thanks!

Riverton Buick / GMC Service Department

I have rarely experienced longer than expected wait times; when it comes to my vehicle being serviced at this location and the Service Department Staff are Courteous and Professional.

Broke dash

These people broke our dash we went up there for air bag change bc this truck had a recall on them so had to go fix the air bag and they had to take dash out when they put it back in or taking out in the process they broke a part of our dash and we have to go back and get it fixed maybe they aren’t sure if they are going to even fix it I got to admit they did it in good timing but they broke the dash and said that they break all the time when they put them back in and if u break all this people dashing you need to stop doing air bags when we took it up there no cracks or anything was broke and if they fix it we should not have to pay anything for it bc they are the ones who broke our dash fixing air bags not us

Easy Purchase Process

My experience was great. This is my second car purchase from here and I’m sure I’ll be purchasing again. Dalvin has been a great salesman both times. The staff is also very friendly.

09-21-2021 Replaced Recalled Front Passenger Airbag - New...

09-21-2021 Replaced Recalled Front Passenger Airbag - New FOB and Key for 2010 Silverado as I had recently purchased this vehicle and scheduled the recall on airbag. As I am the only operator and the vehicle has not had any other service, I was surprised to find the owners manual was missing from the glove box. I reported this to the Service Advisor and I thought the technician might have forgot to put the manual back in the vehicle. The Advisor said he would check and let me know. No response. I checked back again and nothing. I know the manual was in the truck when I went to have the airbag replaced and it was no longer there when I needed to check out something in the manual. I had the vehicle checked out at another location and had to replace both Stabilizer Link Pins, air up a flat spare tire and secure the spare tire. The previous owner had depended on Rivertown GMC to perform maintenance and keep the vehicle operational. I think his trust was misplaced. I will not be returning to this location nor will I recommend your service department.
