Obviously they do not want my business. Bob Smith has been the only company that has serviced my vehicle since I bought it in 2011and before now I was... very pleased. Before they combined with BMW. they treated you like you mattered. Now unless you want to drop 5k they want nothing to do with you. My vehicle is a 2011 mini Clubman S 50th anniversary edition with less than 50k miles. I brought it in for oil change, the engine light came on and 1 light out. I got a call from the service person Christina L. The engine light was some pressure converter that failed once all checked and it is working perfectly not to worry, quoted $860 but not necessary. Explained I had 2 light out the front quoted $40 and they would replace(they didn't do it and said I refused it) the other light was a backup light they wanted $450 to fix. This didn't make since the bulb is less than $10. I said no. When I got the car a whole list of problems was listed that were never discussed. The paper work showed I refused a cracked belt repair (hello might be dangerous if I didn't repair) no quote given. Seeping valve cover after much engagement got a quote of over $1400. Intake pipe starting to leak I couldn't get a quote. Christina was not available and was to call me the next day to clear up. I never got that phone call. It seems as thou they don't care about the mini service because I am sure it doesn't pull in the income that the BMW repairs do. Very disappointing. I need to find a reliable mini repair shop. I didn't mind spending the extra for going to the dealer but this is really bad.

On my 4th Mini Clubman. Always a superb experience leasing a car with Bob Smith. Knowledgable, caring, professional sales team always willing to work with... you for a great deal. Especially want to commend Andre Warren for his outstanding service. He is the person to see if you are going to Bob Smith. He got us to into a new lease on an early turn in with a number we were all not sure could be accepted. But he did it. And he is just a genuine, personable, classy guy. No pressure, no sales talk. And we have been dealing with Josh in the service department through all of our Minis and he is first rate as well. Best part of Bob Smith Mini is there loaners are Minis and BMWs. We know if Bob Smith maintains this level of service we will keep coming back!

I took my 2015 Mini in for routine maintenance with Josh Gates. Quick easy check-in (as always). I got a courtesy shuttle ride back home and in a few hours... received a call from Josh letting me know my car was ready. Went to pick up the car and while waiting, my husband was checking out the showroom and started talking to "Rockstar" about a few cars. Long story short, we traded in our current lease. which still had 10 months left on it, got into a 2017 2 door hardtop S, (which is the same car I had before but it was a base model, no frills) with lots of bells and whistles for only $11 more a month and only $400 down!!! "Rockstar" worked his magic with Karen Thompson in finance and got us a great deal. We kept them there until 10:00 pm after everyone had already left except the manager and they still walked us out with smiles on their faces...now that's what you call EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Definitely visit Bob Smith Mini and ask for "Rockstar" and you too will have an excellent experience.
A joy from start to end. Motoring advisor was knowledgeable, experienced in MINIs, helpful, and fun. I found the car that was almost exactly what I wanted,... and found a way to make it the perfect car for me. That would not have happened at any other dealership. All the other people I met were also in full support mode. I was well cared for.
This was the summer that everything went wrong with my Mini, in June I had to have the coolant system replaced, and in July I had to replace my clutch... and then a week later my power steering motor went out. My Mini has 110,000 miles on it and I know things start to go wrong but on a teachers salary my funds are limited. The Dealer closest to me was unfriendly and quoted me an outrageous price so I called Josh at Bob Smith Mini and he worked hard to get me a good price. Josh was kind and he got my car in right away and the price was the best around. I will never go anywhere but Bob Smith Mini for my car repairs!

I brought my old lease in for service. I had only owned cars before, so I wasn't certain how to end the lease and move forward with a new car. I was... SO well taken care of returning the old lease and getting a new car. I felt even quite empowered by the women helping me. Women helping women with cars is definitely the way to go, gals! This place is truly the best and most trustworthy dealership in LA.
